The thing is, I'm thinking that each game may be alias anyways so knowing who has what for points really won't matter unless you're able to pick out who is who as far as alias'. This will stop the "lynch him cause he has too many points" theory. Plus if we are going to run the same game with two different groups at the same time we have to run it at the Hollywood site in order to keep separate forums.

I figured you'd keep the same aliases, since swapping them over time may become more logistically challenging?

people already complaining about how many points they got and the thing hasn't even started yet.

I really don't see it as a big deal to let people create new alias' for each game, maybe Ahoda, Spin or Curtis do though.

TBH the mod(s) would have to create them because of the mask.

edit: you'd be better off just reusing the same accounts and changing the passwords after each game.

I was thinking the additional logistical work you'd have swapping aliases or passwords everytime. I guess nine folks isn't too bad, especially if they are all generic (Mr. A, Mr. B, and the hard to figure out Mr. E).

You could also have a specific theme for each game and assign people alias names based on that.

Like colors, superheroes, etc. Just to keep mixing it up.

Yeah most of the games will have a theme and we'd be talking about 18 people, cause the idea is to run the same game at the same time in two different threads. But yes most of the alias' could be set up ahead of time based on the game.

We can discuss in the private forum Ben, but I don't think all the games should be alias. Maybe do special ones as alias. You're asking for a lot of extra work on the forum side for all alias games.

If you need someone to help with handling permissions or anything when it comes to alias, I don't mind helping on that side of things and not participating.

Thanks Josh, we'll keep that in mind, but I don't want to take too many potential players away either. Ahoda and Spin should be plenty to help. I did think about enlisting a guest Mod once for a couple games to keep things fresh.
