Kristoff looked out into the night sky. Rain hammered down on the wind-shield of his car. He'd been careful where to leave it. Not that it mattered now. The news bulletin was blaring out on the radio. "...unknown how many were killed in the attack. 2 police officers, a young girl and her mother are all reported dead at the scene. The girl from a single gunshot wound, the mother in a more brutal, uncontrolled attack..." He twisted the dial to turn the radio off. Staring through tear soaked eyes as the rain poured, he closed them. Picking up a cell-phone in the dashboard, he searched through the contact list. "Father Roth". He pressed the dial button and pulled the phone to his ear. Breathing deeply and trying to mask his anguish, he waited. "The number you have dialed cannot be reached. Please leave a message after the tone. Bleep." "Father..." Kristoff spoke wearily. "I need to know...I need to know why you let me leave. Why you didn't just have them kill me. Why did you let me do this?" He pressed to end the call. This had been the fourth message. Roth wasn't responding. There was nobody he could turn to. He looked up into the sky, breathed deeply and closed his eyes. "As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I shall fear no evil. For thou art with me..." He slammed his foot onto the gas pedal as he removed the break, shifting the vehicle into gear. The car revved into life and span through the woodlands. Moving at a dangerous speed, it careened out onto the hilltop. Swerving past the oak tree with the swing, it rolled down the hill. The car came to a crashing stop into the side of a tree at the foot of the hill. Shattered glass and crumpled metal covered the grassy field. Smoke was rising from the engine as lights turned on in the village and people emerged. Stepping out of the church wearily, Father Jonas crept over and glanced in. Kristoff's recumbent and bloody form was laying in the crumpled mess. He closed his eyes and said a gentle prayer, to calm the onlookers.

"Where do we go exactly?" Ari inquired. Helios was pacing the floor. Vespis sat at the desk staring blankly. It was so familiar somehow. "Anywhere. Somewhere. Away from this crazy old man and whatever the hell those things were up there. Hell and demons and monsters. Do any of us really believe in that nonsense?" Rob stared at the Southern door. "Rito does!" Shouted the black caped figure triumphantly. The group stared. "My cousin went through it all! He was murdered by the river of hell itself. I am here to avenge his memory! Trapped in a labyrinth, this labyrinth we stand in now, he fought bravely and was a fearsome leader. There was nobody around to see him die. Lost forever, just a noble memory! My other cousin Bear died in a similar labyrinth. These places are unsafe! We should go onwards!" Dutchiee frowned. "How do you know he died down here if nobody was around to see it?" Rito went to speak and paused in silence. He scratched his head. "Bito magic!" He declared, looking away uncertainly. Natalie coughed and spoke up. "I don't think I normally encounter shadow creatures attacking busses, bottomless holes into darkness and computer terminals that announce the fallen will rise." She stared at the screen. "What's happening here isn't normal. I don't understand it. The only person who seems to is Roth. Call him crazy, maybe he is." She looked up. "Maybe we all are. None of this feels real. But he has a plan and he's not attempted to hurt any of us yet." Helios glared. "That thing he carries around with him threw me into a wall." He said with an agitated tone. Rito shrugged. "Maybe you were not Bit-" Helios picked Rito up and smacked him into the desk. Vespis looked up and blinked. "If you say that word one more time, I swear that I'll smash your head into the computer." Rito snarled as Jeff stood upright. "I'm going South!" He declared. The group was amazed. This was the first time he'd said anything that was his idea. Natalie nodded. "Me too. The rest...it's your call." Bryce sat looking at the screen. "I don't want to be around when these falle-" As he looked on the sky lit up. His eyes raised as a blast of energy plummeted from a hole in the ceiling above. Was it there before? The blast careened right into Bryce's body, sending him hurtling across the room and smashing into the wall, dead. Natalie blinked and rushed to the door where Jeff had already pressed the release. "We need to go." She said firmly. Rob nodded and ran for the door. Vespis stood up and followed. Rito skipped across the floor with a grin as Dutchiee followed suit. Helios was stood staring at Ari. "You believe in demons and ghosts?" He said, miserably. Ari shook his head. "Nope, but I believe in escaping fiery blasts from the sky :P " Helios frowned. Fair point. They ran towards the Southern exit. It led into a swampy area. A large staircase was leading up to some kind of shuttle. Roth was stood by it. Kristoff was already sat in the vehicle. He turned to look at the group. "Glad you all made it." He said with a gentle smile.

The group sat down in the shuttle. Helios didn't take his eyes off Kristoff for a second who sighed, resting his head in his hands. "I thought you said this guy was being put down?" Rob inquired. Roth stared. "Nothing can help with that now. He's going to come along. But he shouldn't be a threat anymore. I worked out a way to cure his affliction when we met back at the base." The assembled people looked at one another. Roth looked at them with a frown. "Where's Bryce?" He asked nervously. Ari shuddered. "Blast from the sky blew him to bits. Well...not bits really but..." Roth shut his eyes and sighed. "Doesn't matter now." Natalie glared. "It matters that somebody just died." Roth shook his head. "I thought that way too originally, but we're at the end of all things. It doesn't matter anymore. Life and death have taken on a very different meaning." He looked over at the button. "I'd say the hard part was over but this is a bumpy..." he pressed it and nothing happened. Sighing he looked down at the room below. "Hold on tight." He said as he climbed down the stairwell. "I'll meet you on the other side." Closing his eyes, he began to chant. As he did the room turned slightly dark. A spark of electricity charged up around him and slammed into the shuttle. Suddenly jerking into motion, the doors closed and the vehicle jetted forwards. The group screamed and yelped as they were flung in all directions. The shuttle careened over a fiery track, in all directions. Rito passed out on the floor. Finally it slammed to a stop as the door opened. The group were scattered across the floor. Natalie stood up as Helios shook his head. "You first." He demanded, pushing Kristoff down the stairs. He landed on the ground with a thud as the others slowly followed suit. He looked up at the ceiling. "I deserve worse." Rob frowned. "Maybe you should stop feeling sorry for yourself for just five minutes and lead the way." Kristoff scuttled to his feet and looked upwards again. "Careful." He said Overhead was a gigantic magnet. "I don't think it's active. The door is just up here." He led them up a gangplank on to another sealed metal door. Ari frowned. "How do you know the way?" He asked. Kristoff shrugged. "I'm just moving forwards." The door opened. Inside was a very large church it was ornate and beautiful. Rows of pews lay looking at a pedestal at the front. There were three stained glass windows. The design was... Rob and Rito paused. "This is Roth's church. How is...how is that even possible?" Dutchiee frowned. "Maybe it just looks similar." Rito shook his head vigorously. "Rito knows when he's been somewhere twice. This is so very very bi-" Helios shot a glance. "So very very big." He finished miserably. Kristoff sat on a pew and looked up at the design. Something about it had him mesmerised. I can fix it all. I can make all your problems go away. He looked over at the group. "Did somebody say something?" There were collective shrugs and a plethora of disinterest. It's not they who speak with you Kristoff Pieterson, I have power beyond their understanding. Come to me. Find me. The past. The future. None of it matters. You may erase the canvas. All that has been, may be undone. Only I can do this. His eyes gazed up at the stained glass mesmerised as the group sat and plotted.

Helios walked across the floor getting very impatient. "This is stupid. I'm going back to find real help." He walked towards the door and pressed to open it. As he went to step outside he paused. The magnet was humming into life. Maybe best to wait a li- Somebody came up behind him and shoved. Yelling out in a rage, he tumbled into the room beyond. A piston shot up from the floor into his leg. This was released as the magnet whirred into action. Screaming out as the piston was torn upwards, still embedded in him he blasted into the large metal device. Hanging there in agony for what seemed like an eternity, the magnet finally powered down. Helios smashed into the floor with a sickening thud. The group looked on in horror. And Helios gurgled before pushing his hand out and righting himself. He stumbled to his feet, bloody and bruised. Muttering something under his breath, he stormed back into the Sanctuary and sat down wearily.

Hard to keep count, I think almost everyone has died and come back at this point :p If there are only what 7 or 8 of us left will compiling a list really even matter anymore? In theory after rnd 7 there should only be only one survivor. Unless porl has a twist, which is likely.

Okay, I'm caught up. Remember when Vespis claimed to be unkillable Town? And remember how I instantly lost my shit about that claim? How I refused to even contemplate that Vespis was telling the truth? It should be clear to you all now, after me now surviving my second death attempt, that my call of bullshit on Vespis was me countering his claim. If we have a Lie Detector around here, my role is Strongman, my alignment is Town, and my win condition is to defeat the Mafia in the Final Showdown. My flavor description involves me being a powerhouse and nobody wanting to fuck with me. (paraphrased, of course). And I cannot be killed during this game. At all. For any reason.

Well I believe you more than Vespis tbh Also everyone check the important thing: We can redo our phase 1 votes. As like put Wikey, Waka and Vespis at the top. We should defo coordinate and all put the same person at the top first, thus killing scum round 1 :)

I was alone at the bank I think, no one was mentioned in the flavour so that means I was alone right? I also put Dutchiee at the top of my list yesterday and used the bus ability on myself. Which means that if Dutchiee was scum he got a lot of votes on himself last round :) Im thinking of redoing my phase 1 votes with Vespis on top

That would also explain why nobody's fessed up to reviving him with the medkit yet. You definitely should put Vespis at the top. A lot of the inactives won't show up to vote again, so we need to make sure that a scum dies early in the final showdown. Since Vespis is allowed to vote in every single round on account of being BP, we don't want his votes to count for all of the phases.

So, guys, Dutchiee and Vespis need to be at the top of our lists this round and the next, especially since we know that their votes are going to count for every phase they're a part of, and eliminating them from the final showdown is important.

Incidentally, I used the handcuffs on Vespis this round to cancel a vote of his and prevent him from using his role. This might negate his invincibility, so it might be worth killing him if any of you have a weapon.

I did go to black building. then next time I logged on we had moved onto phase 11. Tbh I didn't even have a clue what I was entering at the time as I have been really busy in rl wih uni.bthe whole building thing went well over my head and I just went where no one else wen Thor the sake of contribution. Why would I lie about this? And just not go to a different building from the start...

So yeh I went black building, if it had àny negative effects this is news to me as I said I when I came on the new phase had started.
