I'm now thinking I'm at a massive disadvantage because I have not PM'd people. I respect their space and think highly enough of my constituents that I presume they are actively following the events going on here and are intelligent human beings capable of making their own decisions based on information presented to them publicly.

I've answered questions sent to me via PM but I have not actively targeted anyone to beg for a vote. If they vote for me I believe it should be based on merit and the work I have done publicly to provide further entertainment to them. I strongly urge everyone to look over the challenges we have all completed and really take your time to make an informed decision. Please do not simply vote for whoever PM'd you or whoever you have known longer. I think that goes against the spirit of this competition which was to create content and put in work.

I have faith in the voters to put forth the effort to make informed decisions.

I PMed people in 2014 as part of the elections. As far as I know no one's done so this election though.

Also my PMs weren't just begging for a vote, there were asking for questions and private suggestions and things people thought the site needed, not just begging.

And I think like 3 people responded with something other than jokes so really it wasn't even worth it.
