btw I learned today when I listened to the classic station on the radio, that the GoT soundtrack is made by the same dude, weird name, who composes the music for Westworld. though I gotta say I don't really care for the main theme from GoT.
soooo yeah, off to watching sean bean die, again and again and again. (I like the actor, though I don't rly know why)

I hate that kid, the whole lannister gang, except for tyrion, seems fishy and I wouldn't mind if they froze to death when winter comes. btw. that winter must be quite the bitch, even tyrion left that snow tower/temple/mountain or whatever (before pissing down onto the kingdom from the top of it, lel) well that winter is coming and it's getting spooky, and extremely cold I suppose. oh and jon snow of the nightwatch got some serious skills!

also khaleesi is having a baby. her brother got whipped by some dothraki bodyguard, and ned's wife knows that the lannisters are responsible for crippling...brand? the little kid that was shoved out of the "window". and mayor cognetti is also around to play some games of politics.

Yo!! Can I get it from you? I have seasons 1 & 2 on dvd, but I want it all without having to pay that crazy HBO monthly fee.

BTW: I was only 3 episodes in, watched the 4th, cripples and other broken things etc last night. so: wtf is SAM? what is he in this series for? just a likeable fat character thrown in there for all oversized viewers out there to identify with?....HMM, if he's like the chosen one and kills dragons just by looking at them, the FAT ace up the kingdom's sleeve or something, well then okay. but for now, just WTF?!

also, tyrion is "in trouble", lady stark had him seized, but I guess he already knows how to play his hand and come out of that "ditch" more powerful than before. he will have to chose sides soon, and he hates his brother, so maybe the "king slayer" will soon be no more. wouldn't mind that at all!

dios mio...1x05. quite the development. strong episode really, lots of tension, lots of action actually. tyrion stabbed that 1 guy to death, with a shield to the face, repeatedly. cool. but really, so much stuff going on, I kind of felt a bit overwhelmed by it. I gotta go back look at family trees and connections and backstories or I lose oversight of it all.

like: that archer dude with the stupid goatee who is "part" of the starks. what's his story?! father died, father was king? not really on my radar.

same with the gay dudes. the one is a knight or something, the other....is 4th in line...but of what family? oh wait. lannisters right? well, not on my radar at all

or that fat council dude, who conspired to kill ned, he was talking to...someone, in the dungeon, while aria happened to be there chasing a cat. who was he talking to?

I watch it late at night, when I'm already way too tired apparently but it's not just my attention span that's to blame. I have bad audio on my TV, can't crank up the volume, paired with my relatively bad hearing I don't understand it all, and that YE BLOODY FOOL GET ME ME BREASTPLATESTRETCHER slang is not helping at times. skipping backwards is not always as easy as it sounds.

but man, I do enjoy this show more than I thought.

that jamie/ned fight was awesome and ned would have killed that snitch if he didn't catch an arrow to the knee....I meant spear, in the wad, from behind....jamie punching that man of his afterwards was his best move so far!

UPDATE: sheeeeeeit I watched a bunch of episodes since the last entry, I'm through with season 1. and had to keep going: currently @ S02E05, the ghost of harrenhal!

well, last time I wrote tyrione was held prisoner at lady starck's sister's place. man that weird kid hanging on her tits all the time...lel
anyhow just as expected tyrione got out of there, trial by combat, thanks to his champion (and now best friend) bron. the two make a great pair ever since!
when they walked into the "hillbillie" families in the woods. hahaha...and a bit later, right before the "big" battle with the northerners,
when tyrione's father ordered him to stand at the frontlines with these monks, haha the way tyrone explained to him how stupid they were,
killing each other over sausages and such. lel!
well, battle was rather short for him, since he got stomped before he could make any moves. wasn't the real battle anyhow.
currently he's hand of the king, resided in king's landing and he seems to pull all the right strings there. he "rebuilt" the council, brought his favrit whore along, got lancel to spy on...the blonde lannister bitch. all good on his end!

oh men when the fat king died, seemingly everything went downhill from there on in, for the starcks at least. ned was backstabbed by littlefinger,
kind of foreseeable but still unexpected. when sansa, a slave to KING jeoffrey now, begged for mercy for her fathers life I knew the lannisters would still "clip" ned. valerys visited ned down in the cave a couple fo times, but all that sweet talk was just fake aswell, his death was already set in stone.
ned knew too much. his death was sad, the rumor spread at least. robb is making moves now for the starck family, king of the north! let's see how he does. when the fat king died stunnis got into the picture, ALSO BRIENNE, with a win right at the start! well, stunnis I cannot place right. he currently got into bed with a strange religious woman, who didn't wait long to give birth to some dark creature, which went out to stab his gay brother. brienne was there and pretty sad, so was lady starck and how they had to flee the scene because it looked like they were killing, reynald? well, the gay lord.

the nightwatch is getting zombie attacked and later moved out to, secure the whelm?! from, something something dark...certainly intriguing.
but before they all moved out, jon was about to leave when he heard about ned being captured, that a war was about to start -
but he was given a reminder of his place and importance, I guess, by the old dude who was revealed to be one of the targarians, who could have been on the throne right after the mad king.
the way he told his story to jon and revealed himself by the end, this scene was powerful and really great!

lots of things happened, oh yes, on the other side of the ocean viserys got a golden shower from drogo, the last payment for his sister. the dragon eggs were a gift from the taragrians
to the dokroth people weren't they? anyhow, drogo was killed due to his wounds after his men tried to revolt against him.
and maybe because the witch they found and her weird ritual thing got into the situation. that was all weird and I don't really know what happened, just that the dead were dancing in that tent, that drogo and the baby died in thend, but the dragons hatched. ser jorrah got them out of there, into the desert. and after a long walk they just met the "thirteens", about to find shelter in that oasis city!

quite the ride man, this show is certainly everything but boring!

who's the dude that talks like "a man says"!? he seems really cool and he offered 3 free kills to aria for saving him from a fire. he was held prisoner with aria, or ari, for that time. they're now at harrenhal, he's undercover as lannister soldier I think, aria is the cupholder for the old lannister. interesting! she is really strong, sansa aswell. aria though, she goes to sleep saying those names she wants to kill. she's probably the most aggressive starck!or, wait, is crippled starck brant a wolf at night? he hears the trees talk I think, and has these visions/dreams. I don't know, but I WANT to know!

okay I re-read some of the family trees, gotta get the names right. at least half of them. like that spy snake varys, theon, joffrey, cripple bran, arya, daenerys?...come on she's just khaleesi.
the last entry was also a big chunk I had to process. had no time to check for spelling mistakes, though I wouldn't have known half the propper names to begin with.
many characters I enjoyed I forgot to post about aswell, for example the "spanish" dude who taught arya how to handle a sword. "what do we say to death?- not today!" he was pretty cool. or the guy who took on arya right before ned was beheaded. he was killed by the dude who also clipped the spanish swordsman I think. that lannister douchebag gotta go.

well time to move on, s02e06+e07, the old gods and thenew + a man without honor

A man further proves himself to be worthy of henry's fanboyism! Jaqen H'ghar acted swiftly and got #2 for arya. poison dart, some serious ninja shit. hopefully he'll stick around after he finished the last kill. arya's deep into the spy game as cupbearer of daddy lannister, tywin, and he had littlefinger around to visit who recognized arya but seemd to have kept silent about it.
anyhow, not good I guess!

almost the whole lannister gang nearly got ripped apart in some street rally by an angry mob. I think it was after a beheading.
king joffrey acted the fool, as always, and tyrion had enough of it, so he slapped that little piece of shit again. winning!
the two just don't have good chemistry. uncle sends over some bitches, nephew gotta spoil the pleasure with too much pain, sends back damaged bitches. well...
the hound saved sansa from rape/death...death by rape, I don't know. he seemed to have kind words for her now and then,
but recently he told her how killing is the sweetest thing ever. kind of a killing machine, the hound is boss!

and oh yeah, theon's arc starts to dawn on me, lel, he's always
been a douchebag for some reason, no real identity to me. he tried to nail his sister (who looks stoned ALL the time, but she's the older one calling the shots) now he tries to grab winterfell and acts like a king. he tortured and killed people for no reason, good thing bran escaped with that woman. theon gotta go soon!

khaleesi's dragons got snatched, and the black dude, who opened the gates of qarth for her and jerrah in the first place,
he tries way too hard to get into her pants! the replicant dude from the house of the undying & the black dude just got rid of the thirteens,
that was unexpected. that whole situation there in qarth seems weird. meh

the nightwatch moved on through the mountains, jon gets "lost" and finds Igritte, they get to 2nd base, good for jon, but also bad for jon ;D
she tries to make him question his place in the world I guess. well, lures him intro a trap, now he's being brought to some rival leader.

jamie also had 5 minutes to shine, I still dislike him, but somehow not as much as before. killed one of his people, got free, ran off, was caught again.
brienne who is now serving lady starck will take care of him from now on. all for the REALM ;)
