For a while, it seemed that the citizens were too busy dealing with the large number of deaths that happened. Soon enough though, the people got back to the business of figuring out who needed to die. For a while, everyone was completely confused, throwing blame and suspicion everywhere. And then, eventually, they narrowed it to two.

“How about Darkus?” someone said.
“How about Farlig?” someone else said.
“Nah, I think Darkus is better.”
“Farlig should die!”
“No, it should be Darkus!”
“Wrong! It’s Farlig!”
“Darkus!”
“Farlig!”
“DARKUS!”
“FARLIG!!”
“...what about Zersch?”

And just like that, Zersch became the target. Without a second word, the people went directly after Zersch. Darkus and Farlig looked at each other, shrugged, and joined in on the attack. It seemed as if mere moments went by before Zersch was laid out on the ground. Just as the citizens were ready to finish him off, DS ran up out of nowhere and delivered the final, killing blow.
