hmm, just sayin, when I was 15 there weren't reports on the news about killings,terror, accidents and all that shit, EVERY day....now I'm 30 something and I hear about death, destruction and drama all day long.

The media us to blame along with the ease of which we get information. I am pretty sure it has always been rough out there. Ask your grandparents how bad things were in the 1940s.
