The glow of removing two evil men from the townspeople has left you feeling confident. Maybe, just maybe, you all can succeed where last time you failed? But in the night, the Church steeples glow eldritch green as always, and the darkness does not fade until morning light breaks across the grey rooftops.

You all return to the town square after a night of dreams. But as you gather, you discover that not everyone has returned. Wikey and im317 are missing. You all fan out, trying to find out what had happened to them.

It is Vern who gets to im317's first. He goes into his place, then comes back out and retches into the grass near the street. The rest of you move in to see what caused Vern such distress. You find that im317's entire front room is covered in blood. It looks as if his body has been pulled to pieces, because you find a hand here, an arm there, a part of torso here. Once TIB is able to get over being sick, he checks out the entire apartment. Within, he finds a partially written novel mentioning a witch cult in Maine. He also finds lots of notes on cults, including some stating that there is a Church of Starry Wisdom right here in Kingsport, along with notes that indicate that im317 was trying to hunt down this cult and destroy it.

You are from Providence, RI. There you investigated the Church of Starry Wisdom, a fiendish cult. Within the church you beheld the Shining Trapezohedron, a crazily angled stone that called forth a creature in the night. You got rid of the stone and beheld the Church in flames. You vowed to take down the Church wherever it is found. News of the Church has brought you to Kingsport.

Each night, you can check an individual to see if they are a cultist. If so, you will find evidence of this. Your sanity may effect the evidence you find.

If you are visited by a cultist at night, they will attack and kill you, if you have no other protection.


Concerned for Wikey, you begin searching the town. Curtis suggests you head to Wikey's place first- it's a castle-like house on the cliffs at the edge of town. You all walk the cobblestone streets to get there. You find Wikey lying in his doorway. He has been stabbed in the chest multiple times. When you look at him, you notice that he is, in fact, a hideous looking creature. You are surprised that you didn't see it before. At least it explains why he lived so far from the center of town.

You have long been a recluse in your forgotten mansion in Kingsport. You have had little human contact for a long time; in fact, so long that you’ve forgotten much of your own personal history. You have come to view your existence as a prison, and so began looking around your mansion for a means to leave. While looking, you saw a horrible creature in a ghoulish state of decay, antiquity, and dissolution. Even through its eaten-away and bone revealing outlines was a leering, abhorrent travesty of the human shape. In your shock, you tripped upon the carpet, your hand stretching out to stop yourself from falling instead brushed the creature, only to feel instead the cold and unyielding surface of polished glass. Frightened by what you have become, you wish to keep this fate from happening to your fellow citizens.

As a ghoul, you choose a person each night. If you are attacked, the person you choose will die instead. If this happens, your sanity will drop 25 points.

<unknown to player- their actual win condition is allied with the mafia. If their sanity drops to zero, they will join the mafia. They also lose their ability at zero sanity.>


Day 3 will have plurality. With 20 alive, it takes 11 to lynch.

Damn visiting family needed me to go get them lunch. I missed the late lynch yesterday, and because of it, lost out on the sanity boost from being on Helios' lynch train.

Wait a minute...if Wikey was attacked, then the attack was redirected to the person he submitted, so how did he die? Wouldn't the kill be redirected? Was he converted to mafia then attacked?

i'm not sure why wikey's ghoulishness didn't go off. maybe he was blocked or unstoppable-killed?
