Yes. You did. The moment I said that I didn't get the names of the two people who visited. What I don't understand is why. I can think of two reasons, but neither of those reasons mean that I'm scum. They mean that we're BOTH Town, and/or someone is seriously fucking with me.

Day 2 has ended.

Helios has been lynched.

"Free Candy? Anyone know what's up with Free Candy?"

"Oh damn- he's never around when you need a sugar high. Let's vote that guy."

"Nah, I think brian seems more scummy."

The arguments rage back and forth.

"Lamps is scum. Confirmed!" Angi blurts.

"Ummm, I'm not. And I know who you are." Lamps retorts.

"Oh fuck." Angi says, and takes another drink of vodka. "But you know why I thought..."

"Yep." Lamps returns.

"I saw all the shit that happened!" Helios says. "I don't know who, but there were two people hanging at Lamps last night. I watched them go, but couldn't see who."

"Scum, you couldn't watch anyone." Lamps returns.

"Um, yes so- I'm just a little too crazy to see who." Helios says.

The crowd doesn't believe him. They grab him and demand that he enter a plea of guilty.

"I'm not guilty and I won't submit to this kangaroo court!" Helios demands.

"If you won't submit a plea, then we'll force one from you." Curtis calls out. Ahoda nods. They bind his hands and feet. Darren Sanders gets a large scrap board and puts it over Helios' body. Then Merc, Rose, Herm, and Christian begin putting bricks, cinder blocks, and cobblestone onto the board.

"Confess", says Jamie, "Or you'll be crushed.

"I won't." says Helios.

The stack of rubble on the board gets higher. Helios begins to look like the strain of all that weight is crushing his life out of him. But still, with what breath he can muster, Helios calls out:

"Add more weight."

They obey him. Soon the board has stopped his breathing, broken his ribs, crushed him completely. And still the pile in the square gets higher and higher and higher. Until finally, with the sun setting, you all leave this cairn to mark where you have found evil.
