The group exited the other side of the portal into what looked like some kind of space ship.

"Shiny," said Bryce as he marveled at his surroundings.

"Looks like we're in the cargo hold," Redster observed.

"Curtis?" Rose asked. "Can't you see if you can open a portal to a Burger King or something, I'm starving."

"Unfortunately," Curtis started. "This thing doesn't come with instructions. I mean, most of it's not even in english."

"Can I take a look at that book?" Bryce asked.

Curtis handed it over.

Just then, someone burst into the cargo hold.

It looked like they were running from something.

"It's goram Reavers!" he shouted.

Some nasty looking creatures grabbed the man from behind and tore him apart right before their eyes.

Soon, all that was left of the man was the bloodied knit cap he had been wearing.

"Everybody, run!" Curtis shouted. "Bryce, give me that book!"

"No, I can do it," Bryce said as he quickly read some words he found among the pages.

A portal opened.

But these creatures --- these Reavers --- were on them in seconds.

Bryce dropped the book screaming, as Reavers ripped him apart.

Bryce has died.

Curtis grabbed the book before making a hasty exit, but he was grabbed by something.

Reavers had a hold of him too.

The rest of the group had hurried through the portal by then. There was nobody to help him.

The book fell to the floor, and shortly afterwards, so did a dead Curtis.

Curtis has died.

Agreed on brian. And, I'm confused why Curtis was hit instead of brian by Herm (can't remember which nights he claimed vig for) or wherever that kill came from.
