Characters must have a short bio and a photograph to be used as an avatar. You may be any character so long as they have not been in a previous edition of Spooky Castle. You do not have to be a character that fits the "flavor" of the game, especially when in the first edition of the game we had inanimate objects as characters. A sentient being with two legs and two arms (outside of an amputee) is of course preferable for flow of narrative. If you give yourself superpowers or things like that they won't have any effect on the role you're assigned and be purely for your own entertainment in your journal.


If you are not on this list and want to play, you may petition me via PM for a spot in the game. For a petition to be considered you must send a character with your petition, in other words be prepared for the game to begin once you PM me. I'll accept or reject your petition. It's highly likely I'll accept it, especially if any of the people above fail to confirm below and I have a lot of open spots.


If you do not submit a character by the deadline you will be given a character of my own design that fits the flavor.

You are REQUIRED to confirm your participation in the game either via PM or by posting in this thread. I think this is more than fair to ask of you, because you have about six days to do so and if you can't be bothered to check in you likely won't be a very valuable player to the game. This also will help me determine how many petitions to play I will accept.

Spooky Castle's start date will be announced one week from today. It will likely be starting that week once I have all of the characters.

I'm officially extending the deadline for at least another 24 hours from the original deadline because it would frankly be a pretty short game if we began tomorrow with the people I have locked in at the moment. It would be nice to have 25 players at least. Feel free to hunt people down.

I'm going to go ahead and allow characters/sign ups to continue until Saturday evening. The game itself will begin with creating your accounts and joining in on a prologue segment on Sunday. With the official Day 1 begin on Monday, possibly Tuesday depending on if there are stragglers when it comes to making an account.

Ok, I'll be setting up stuff between now and tomorrow and then registration will begin once I send people characters who have opted to have characters made for them.

Aiming for Thursday to be Day 1, Wednesday to be the intro stuff.
