I try to incorporate mythological nods wherever I can. Sadly that won't be used at all. It was only for that one phase. Nice to see somebody finally piece it together though.

You glance around, hoping that nobody else can see you. Pushing at the window uncertainly you're not surprised when it doesn't shift. It's glass...obviously. You turn around to walk away and frown.

This is ridiculous.

You push once more. Despite inner protestations you keep pushing until finally your hands move through the window as if it were water. Blinking in shock, you pull something solid out and glance down at it. It's an old looking book. Opening the front page you read it carefully.

"Soul calling: In the heat of battle, many will fall. But call them with this tome and they will rise once more, to join your struggles."

You place it away, not really knowing what to think.

It's a bit of a significant risk to do this, but my logic is something along the lines of, if the scum manage to knock a lot of the high-profile town players out of the game early on in the final showdown, then phase 13 is going to need all of the help it can get for whichever townies are left standing. So, by making sure that all of our votes count for that, and townie votes count double towards getting rid of scum, we stand a much, much better shot at overall victory if the margins are anywhere close.

Uhh... since Natalie's use of the teddy bear just completely made the tome redundant, can I use it on phase 12 instead?

It has a slightly different effect. It affects the battle itself. Once somebody is "killed" on the final showdown, their votes will no longer count. So the old tome reverses that effect.

You can still use it on Phase 12 if you want, but none of the people who were dead on Phase 12 are going to be able to cast any votes.

In a sense, it's more redundant using it on that phase than this one.
