Your eyes snap open as you're abruptly awoken from your slumber. The first thing you see is the beautiful, gleaming clock hanging from the ceiling above you. The thing looks to be more expensive than your house. A pure gold base bolstering it to the ceiling, diamonds adorned across the hands, and...wait...is that...? You squint your eyes and focus on the faint red splotch along the bottom. It's then that you begin to wonder... where the hell am I?

*cough, cough*

You jerk your neck to the side and see a man staring straight back at you. On your other side...there's another. You clamber to your feet and see it: dozens more bodies strewn across the floor. They all appear just as confused as you as they wake up one by one.

When you've somewhat collected yourself, you notice that you're in a behemoth, yet ornate establishment. All around you are hallways that seem to go on endlessly, doors lining them as far as the eye can see. Your heart begins to flutter in a panic. How did you end up here? Where is here? All you can do is pick a direction. And then you run.

Tick. Tock.

You increasingly begin to notice a terrible mustiness throughout the mansion. You don't even want to think about what it is. You're remiss to even peek into any of the rooms you're passing, for fear of what you might see. But there has to be some way out. There has to be an answer. You begin to think to yourself...this place seems awfully familiar. But you can't quite place it. Or maybe you just don't want to.

Mercifully, you notice a sliver of light at the end of the hall. You burst into an even faster sprint, your adrenaline pumping at full force. Eerily, the hallway almost seems to be getting narrower and narrower...but it doesn't matter. You're almost there.

You slow to a halt, basking in the warm glow of sunlight emanating from between the towering double doors. You then take a deep breath and brace yourself as you reach out to open the doors.

The two front doors are flung open, allowing light to flood into the mansion for the first time in years, blinding you for a moment. But when your eyes adjust...you see it. It's unmistakable. You know exactly where you are.

It's Devil's Island. Years ago, this place was all over the news. The "Devil's Island Massacre" shook the world to its core. The investigation into the tragedy had went cold, the survivors all missing. The island was eventually condemned for good.

And so that begs the terrifying question: how did you get here? And more importantly...why are you here?

Unfortunately for you, those answers would not come easy. As the sun slowly began to set, a night of bloodshed and betrayal the likes of which the world had never seen had only just begun. The Devil's Island Massacre would look like mere child's play by the time this night was through. No, these questions hardly mattered anymore. All that mattered was one thing.

Survival.

This is a regular Mafia game. The game will be entirely anonymous, and each of you will be playing as a made up character on another board. The more in character that you are, the more entertaining the game will be for everyone, so we encourage you to come up with something you enjoy playing.

The game will begin about a week after Chrisian's mafia ends. We're getting the thread up now since the character creation/sign up portion usually takes about a week anyway, so this way it'll all be out of the way and there won't be much time between Christian's game and this game.

Send us your character info throughout the week. Either PM it to myself or Boc or both. All you need to send is your characters name, a brief description, and a clear photo. Make sure they're made up characters please. If you can't think up a character, you may PM us and we'll give you two character choices that you can choose from. Please try not to send a black and white photo/cartoon/awful stock photo/talking animal if you can help it

NOTE: Most are welcome to sign up and play, but those who have a bad track record of inactivity or rule breaking in the series may be denied. SORRY!

Again, the game will start sometime after the current game ends. We'll settle on a date later on. Registration and pregame will start the day before.
