The sun was rising on a brand new day. The previous one had been chaotic, with two murders to mull over. Gmaj7 had ultimately been lynched, but it had been a long time getting to that point, involving a lot of heated discussion. Gmaj7 was proven to be the best choice when he turned out to be a killer.

Watson was pouring a cup of coffee when a knock came at his door. He answered. It was Sherlock. Watson greeted his friend jovially.
"Well, congratulations on completing another case!"
Sherlock ignored the compliment and walked in.
"It's not over yet Watson...far from it!"
Watson groaned and put down his coffee.
"You mean there is more?"
"Another body was found today...it's the most gruesome crime scene yet. You should come and see for yourself."

Watson put on his coat and followed Sherlock to the crime scene. They went together to Hyde Park, where Greg Lestrade was waiting for them. He had a grim look on his face. Molly Hooper was with him.
"Oh, hello Sherlock!" She said shyly.
"Show Watson the body," Sherlock replied, getting straight down to business.
"This way," Lestrade said.
He and Molly led them to the scene. The first thing Watson noticed when they approached the body was the hideous wounds. They didn't look like anything caused by a human.
"This is impossible." Watson murmured.
"Indeed," said Sherlock. "And yet the body lies before us all the same."
Watson studied the wounds. It looked like the victim had been mauled to death. Great long scratch marks ran all over his body.
"Who could have done this?" Watson said, puzzled.
"Perhaps the right question is 'what' could have done this!" Sherlock replied. "Look here," he said, pointing to a trail of paw prints in the muddy ground. They appeared to belong to a large animal.
"What animal has paws the size of these prints? None occur to me that are native to the British Isles...it's almost like we are dealing with...a gigantic hound."
Watson eyed his friend skeptically, and was about to challenge him, but when he saw that he was completely serious he relented. He looked back down at the body.

That wasn't the only reported crime that day. Down George Street another attack had taken place during the night. The victim was attacked by someone with a fireaxe. For all intents and purposes they had been left for dead. But they were alive and well by the morning.

It is now Day 3. With 21 players alive it will take 11 votes to reach a majority. Plurality is in effect.

Day 3 will end at 7pm EST on Friday - extended due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
