I finally got back to my game and now I've entered the Institute and did stuff there. Now I'm debating how I want my game to go.

I still haven't figured out how my second game will go. Probably Minutemen out of indecisiveness.
Friends who have played Nuka-World tell me how it is immediately | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

I'm just debating if I wanna destroy the Brotherhood. I like it when they join me in fights. I'm basically at the point of no return with the Railroad though
I learned you have to be level 30 for Nuka World so I should be there soonish maybe depending on how much I play in these next five days in a row of work.

I finally picked this up again, and I have entered the Institute for the first time. I found 'Shaun'
When Father walked in, I proceeded to blow his head off with a shotgun before he had a chance to say anything. It was only after reloading that I realized I had killed the real Shaun. I lol'd |

Finally completed this damn game. Only took me 2 and a half years!
I sided with the Minutemen, the most boring faction in the game. The ending was very abrupt. It felt to me like things were just starting to get interesting and then bam, it was over.
Overall, I did enjoy the game and it did a lot of things right. But it did a whole lot more wrong imo. Weakest game of the series for me by far. They sacrificed true RPG elements and cool dialogue in favour of base building and a more streamlined FPS style game. Which is fine, but it's not what I was hoping for.
Might have to boot New Vegas up again!

i might do an evil run soon. Pretty much everything i haven't done would go best with an asshole of a character: that vault pack, the institute, nuka world, actually meeting Cait...
I don't actually enjoy being the bad guy in these games but it'd be nice to get those things done.
I might do a melee build for it? NOT SURE | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

at last I played the Far Harbor DLC. p good! Wasn't feeling the HYPE through much of it but the ending came together nicely, had some fun dilemmas
|
one thing I'll say is the DiMA memory segment was awful. If I wanted to play Talos Principle, I'd play the Talos Principle. Easily the worst part of the DLC
besides the ending, I think my fav part was the vision quest you go on from the irradiated spring. That was a fun mission
as for the ending, it took me a bit to untangle exactly how I wanted to deal with all the warring factions but ULTIMATELY I felt like going with the chaotic route and handed the victory to the Children of Atom. Timeline was basically:
- told Kasumi to get tf out of there cuz shit was gonna go down, but she was like "nah I'm good, just talk to me when this is over" and I was like lol oookay
- extorted bottlecaps from Avery since I knew she was a synth, then immediately turned around and ratted her out to Allen (: Who summarily executed her and went after the rest of the synths
- watched the carnage at Acadia, which sadly Kasumi was caught in the middle of
- as the battle raged on, I snuck out to shut off the wind turbine for Far Harbor, so they had a nasty surprise when they returned home and the fog had taken over (: Which I felt a LITTLE bad about tbh cuz Allen turned out to kinda be a bro. But w/e. Glory to Atom!
- returned to the Takanos and woke them from bed to tell them their daughter was deceased. They expressed their sadness and promptly returned to bed |
