Watched the first episode. The first scene in the psychiatrists office grabbed me. This looks like it could be really good. | |

This.

Ever since reading the theory about Mr Robot being Elliot's alter ego I worried. Because that would be way too predictable. I should have had more faith, because that was one of the best twists on any show I've ever seen. Totally caught me off guard. |

Catching up

POOR BILL! The guy giving Elliot the tour that he had to shit on. I felt horrible for him
Episode 6 tho. So great. The ending was amazing, I didn't see the other henchman killing Vera's brother coming at all. And poor Shayla :( . This show goes against formula constantly, most other shows she'd make it out alive, especially just in episode six. This is gonna fuck Elliot up |

Sheeeeeeeit. Its been a popular theory that Mr Robot is Elliot's dad, but I didn't see the Darlene twist coming at all. I picked up on some lines early on in the season like her saying "Why wouldn't I know where you live?" and stuff like that, but I figured that was explained by Elliot actually being Mr Robot and knowing her all along
Since the Mr. Robot twist was more obvious, I wish they did that first but it still worked really well. And like.............is he real or what? Dead or alive? Was that Elliot meeting with Tyrell in the car and the other guy in the greenroom place? CONFUSED! It makes me really wanna rewatch once the season ends |

I think it's pretty clear his dad is dead, it's been referenced by several other characters. No way Mr. Robot is real, and it explains why Tyrell was so cool in the data center when he saw Elliot- they'd already met before. |

watched the first episode. P good
|
The 'technobabble' segments weren't perfect or anything, but they did them better than most shows...e.g. House of Cards
like Wikey the scene in the psychiatrist's office really grabbed me. Definitely got a huge Fight Club vibe from that. I wonder if they edited in the Cosby/Brady clips like, right before the episode aired? Those are both really recent
the only part I didn't like much was Christian Slater's character. Dunno why, but I'm really not a fan of his acting in this so far |
