Hey Brian thanks for the question! Buffy was my "Final Two" alliance so I would love/want to face off against her in the Final Two for that reason. I also think that Buffy and I are probably more evenly matched competition wise lol, so strategically, I would rather face her in the final challenge because I want to win the game! Curtis is a beast in a lot of things and I could see him easily destroying me in the last round lol! :)

Oh gosh! I really thought it was Curtis because he was really your strongest competitor imo and you never eliminated him. Or maybe Herm. I'm just guessing obviously.

Lol I didn't realize this was a social game, I guess. I didn't talk strategy much at all lolfail. So I'm kinda curious what happened behind the scenes. Congratulations on making it to the Final 3, very well done!

Sami, could you please compile me a list of all deals/alliances that were made during the game? Doesn't have to be a complete list but just so I have a better understanding of what happened during the game.

Buffy, to what extent did prior/out-of-game relationships play a role in this game?

Curtis, which two players out of the three of you will make for the most exciting Final 2?

I think it played a big role, at least on our tribe, because a lot of people from Team Aries/Nu Drrr played other games like Ghost, etc on skype together. So, there were already some people who were bound to work together. There were probably cross-tribe alliances too. I know Jacob had some friends on our tribe. Also, I did talk game to Herm a lot even though we were never on the same tribe.

I too didn't realize the social aspect of this game to the extent others are talking about. I never contacted anyone outside game threads during the game other than responding to messages from Sami and Daniel. I didn't feel that I scoffed at Samis plea to not eliminate her, I told her I read it too late and didn't even consider eliminating her anyways. Same for Daniel when he contacted me outside the game.

And honestly based on the reason Buffy gave for eliminating me it was my lack of social play and being relatively new to this forum.

My questions are simple,

1. Buffy did you boot me because of an outside alliance with Herm or PM? Or did you really boot me cause you hadn't spoken to me at all.

2. Curtis who did you talk to outside the game which helped you to this point?

3. Sami, what was your biggest asset during the game? (ie alliance, game play, etc.)

My vote is still pretty much in the air so your answer will directly affect my vote. Best of luck to all three of you.

Both. I had a deal with Jacob that round only not to eliminate each other no matter which team won. So, he was off the table for me. Between you and Herm, I couldn't eliminate Herm for two reasons: 1) We had a pretty good relationship and you and I never spoke; I wasn't trying to blame that on you as I didn't attempt to talk with you either. I felt trying to make too many alliances would just get me in trouble when/if I had to eliminate people. 2) You were a big threat in challenges.

Hey Daniel! I will do my best to summarize the alliances and deals that I know about or suspected.

These are the ones that I was aware of:

Team Aries (Although there was never anything formal in place with the original Team Aries members, at least to my knowledge, I guess that it was implicitly understood by some that we'd stick together? I think that it was easy for many of the members of that team, given our outside friendships. Of the five of us on Team Aries who made it to the home stretch, I honestly didn't speak to Brian, in or out of the game, until about the Final Five or so, and then with Curtis and Vic, I really only spoke to the two of them a handful of times about strategy.I definitely didn't feel super secure with my original teammates. When Curt eliminated Herm for example, I was honestly prepared to be eliminated if I had been vaulted that round, just because there was nothing spoken at that point, game-wise, between us. His reasoning for eliminating Herm (him being the final surviving Team Drr member) was a sound one though... whether or not that was his legitimate reason for doing so or not, I'm unsure. Buffy and I both thought that Brian and Curtis had a deal though. I'm still not entirely sure what Curt would have done if I was vaulted that round though!)

Buffy/Sami (For me, I had two explicitly understood alliances that I maintained throughout the game. The first one was with Buffy. We had a pact to go all the way together and to never vote one another out. Then I also had a secret pact with Herm to work together across the two teams, beginning very early (Week Two I think it was?) After that I based most of my gameplay (votes, who I planned to eliminate if I were to be Paymaster) on who I felt would keep me safe/benefit me the most going forward.)

Herm/Sami (See above.)

Brian/Sami (The only other deals that I personally made were with Brian and Curt, both at the Final Five. I promised Brian that if he didn't eliminate me, that if I was to win Paymaster at the Final Four, I'd keep him safe. With Curtis, the two of us agreed not to vote to vault one another that round, which sort of solidified Vic as the target for that week.)

Curtis/Sami (See above.)

Other semi-strategy offers that I can recall off the top of my head:

Jacob/Sami (Pussymastah approached me at the Final Seven but I don't think that either of us took the other one very seriously, since we both voted to vault each other that round. Shrauben and I had an awkward PM exchange as well the round that he was first Paymaster... not sure if that constitutes as a deal or not haha but I proposed one!)

Sami/Schrauben (See above.)

What I suspected:

Brian/Curtis (I know Brian was at least comfortable enough with Curtis to tell him that I annoyed him the round that Vic went home and that he almost wanted to eliminate me because I was so obviously "sucking up," to him lol (I learned all that per Buffy, who heard it from Curtis mind you lol, so I'm not sure how much of the Telephone Game was being played there.) The only other evidence was that Curtis didn't eliminate Brian at the Final Six, in spite of Brian being a much larger physical threat than Herm.)

Buffy/Curtis (I know that there were some promises made between them.)

Buffy/Herm (See above.)

Buffy/Vic (See above.)

Curtis/Vic (See above.)

Curtis/PussyMastah (Just a guess!)

Brian/Herm/PussyMastah (The round that PussyMastah left I know that there was a push to get me vaulted with Curtis and Vic so that Buffy would have to eliminate one of the three of us... not sure how much was promised between those three or what everyone was thinking exactly... Herm ended up foiling this plan but I've also heard that he initially tried to engineer it.)
