A drunken reveler stumbling somewhere outside of the throne room exclaimed as the feast of remembrance drew to a close. Inside of the lavish throne room stood a young lady with two guards standing at her back. She stood before the empty throne with her arms crossed and her mouth screwed up into a sneer as she stared at the enormous portrait of the late emperor hanging above the throne. Fong had commissioned the finest artist in the land to paint his portrait as emperor before he ever rose into actual power. It was one of his most prized possessions; there wasn't a soul in the Bito Isles who hadn't laid eyes upon its glorious magnificence. Now it hovered there ominously. Rita hated it. With a passion. "Please, could the two of you remove that gargantuan eyesore? I do not care what becomes of it, I just want it out of my sight." She tipped the royal crown forward on her head while her retinue of armored guards sprang into action at her word and pushed past the throne to pull the royal portrait down from the wall.
Just as Rita's guards were in position to topple the ominous memento of the late Emperor Fong, the doors to the throne room were violently shoved open. Rita spun to see a young man ensconced from head to toe in red velvet robes sweep into the room, flanked by two guards of his own. "I'll thank you to remove your grubby little hands from that wonderful portrait of my father at once! It will be remain where it is and will soon be joined by an equally if not slightly larger portrait of myself!" Rita glared at her cousin, her demeanor teetering on the line between disbelief and annoyance. "Frosti? I thought you were dead. Your father thought you were dead." Frosti stopped in his tracks mere feet from Rita, a broad grin plastered upon his face. "You're telling me! Yet here I stand, dear cousin. Reinvigorated and ready to sit upon my father's throne! Now please, hand over the crown and move aside." Frosti reached to snatch the crown from Rita's head but she slapped his hand away. "Not so fast - this throne is mine. Your claim was dissolved once your father accepted that you were deceased."
"Well I will be gathering up the entire population of the Bito Isles at once in order to give a speech so official that tears of joy will drown the isles. To let them know that their rightful ruler has arrived. All is not lost for you dear cousin. Perhaps you could be my cupbearer?" Rita was massaging her temples when a moment of clarity washed over her like the warm rays of the sun. "Guards, bar the doors at once. No one enters this room and no one leaves this room until we're finished here." Rita's scowl had dissolved into a grin as she walked backwards until she was close enough to plop back into the throne. She lifted the royal scepter from beside the throne and pointed it ahead at her cousin. "Everyone thinks you are dead, yet you are not dead. An unfortunate situation, but not one that cannot be rectified." Frosti's guards surrounded him protectively as Rita's blocked off the grand doors of the throne room. "You're a ghost here, Frosti. I will see you bleeding out on the floor of this throne room. Perhaps I'll bury you with your father's ridiculous portrait."
This a variant of the 'Assassin in the Palace' set-up. It's also an open set-up, so I will post the roles below.
Heirs (2)
There are two heirs in the game. An Heir wins if they meet the following criteria: [1] They must survive. [2] Their competing Heir must be killed. [3] The Assassin must be killed. Each Heir has a one-shot kill of their own. This kill may be used at any time. If their competing Heir is alive then the kill must be carried out publicly by posting ##Kill: X. If their competing Heir is dead then their kill may be carried out privately by responding to their role PM with their decision. Though unlikely, if the last two players standing are Heirs they will share a joint victory where the only loser is the Assassin.
Royal Guards (4)
There are four Royal Guards, with two being assigned to each Heir. The Royal Guards are told who their Heir is. Each squadron of guards can only win alongside their Heir. If their Heir is killed then the guards assigned to that specific Heir will take their own lives out of shame for having failed at protecting their Heir. The Royal Guards must subtly protect their Heir and hopefully draw the kills of both the competing Heir and the Assassin to themselves.
Assassin (1)
There is one Assassin whose job it is to eliminate both Heirs and liberate the Bito Isles. The Assassin has vengeful kill(s) that may be used at the time of their death, even if they are killed by an Heir. The number of vengeful kills the Assassin has is equal to the number of Heirs still alive in the game. If one Heir dies, the Assassin loses one of his kills. The Assassin wins the game when both Heirs are dead. The Assassin does not have to be alive to win. The Assassin also wins if they are left standing alone with both Heirs.
Alive Nofo, Heir Alpha, and his Royal Guards have won the game.
Dead Buffy, Royal Guard Beta, lynched Day 1. Vernon, Royal Guard Alpha, lynched Day 2. Brian, Royal Guard Beta, lynched Day 3. Boc, Assassin, lynched Day 4. Curtis, Royal Guard Alpha, killed Day 4. Rose, Heir Beta, killed Day 4.

Looking for nine (seven will also work if I can't get nine) people to sign up to play Sunday night. I'm aiming for 10 PM EST but that can be changed to accommodate people if necessary. If I can't find enough people, then tough titty I guess. Since K-Mart was involved in KC's game it would be just shy of retarded to do what would wind up being an inverse version of his theme. So this will be Labyrinth flavored. The notorious and vastly underwhelming Emperor Fong has died, leaving behind a vacant crown and a happy nation. Now that the six month long celebration of his death has come to a close, two squabbling heirs have stepped forward to take the crown for their own. Little do they know that someone lurks in the shadows that would prefer if neither of them were to ascend the empty throne. This game could last for an hour or a little more, or it could last all of twenty minutes depending on how things go. So once again, I humbly request seven or nine participants to volunteer as tribute.
