I tried out the mario game and tried to get a star... any star. There wasn't anything that seemed to unlock one so I decided to go for the 100 coin star...which unlocked something else entirely but I wasn't disappointed.
There was quite of bit of Nintendo News yesterday due to the direct but the main one that i am looking forward to is the new Fire Emblem game.
You'll be able to choose from two different paths, which will give you access to different characters and a different storyline.
The group on the right are the Hoshido clan who are your adopted family at the start. They are typical peace loving FE characters really. And the left is your birth family who is the honour bound Nohr clan who have to essentially start a revolution to promote their family. It looks interesting and I really want to play it ahhh. The japanese game will be two different games with each path on each... like Pokemon but there has been no word if that will be the case in the NA version.
They didn't announce anything in the english direct about having to buy two versions or not so I don't actually know how it will be here... I know there will be like a deluxe japanese release with both stories playable along with a 3rd DLC story but as of now it will just be the two different physical games... but buying one allows you to buy the other for a discount.
Oh man... Lego joins the collectible gaming figurine market... essentially making a Lego themed game but the characters don't have to be from any specific series. Like the starter pack has Gandalf and Batman in it.
It's pretty silly but it seems like the next logical step considering how many derivative Lego games there have been.
