Exactly what I'd say

4 > 1 > 5 for me I think, with all of them being very close. I haven't fully read 2 or 3 so I can't rank them fairly.

And 1 is ahead of 5 only because of nostalgia tbh

I didn't participate in the latter three obv, I'm biased.

4 was my first mafia game so I have a special love for that.

I liked 2 a lot but I'm biased because I died so early in 3 4 and 5

I'm having trouble picking between 3 and 4.

Loved the mall store mechanic and overall the cast/characters of 4, but really loved the way a lot of the flavor was presented in 3 - the flash-forward style with the inept Bollig/Swanson (who were also probably my favorite host characters). The train setting felt very old school whodunnit, and some of the characters added to that classic feel too.

I guess I'm able to name more things I enjoyed about 3 so I should pick that.

3 played out incredibly well. Gameplay and balance wise, it all went so perfectly with the story that we were telling. That was easily my favorite flavor to write

I can't rate 1 or 2 since I didn't play.

Four is definitely my favorite because I had so much fun. I loved my role of trying to decide which of two people to save every day lol. Very inventive. Also, it was probably the only time I've ever really stayed in character. Maybe it was all the drinking that made it so easy. (: I also thought there were some epic characters and very memorable moments in the game. Frank, who alluded suspicion for so long because of his creative lie at the beginning. Rob and his deal with town. So funny now even though I was beyond frustrated at the time lol. The division by stores and just the whole storyline was really good. And that music in the opening thread that you couldn't get away from. :P Also, my first game with Herm, who is such a fun person to play mafia with.

Three is second because, while I had almost no idea what I was doing, I lasted almost all game. I was a bad vig lol. I wish I had a do-over with that role but it was still very fun to play.

Five is third but definitely a very fun setting. It seemed like the clown and magician were extra twisted and the deaths super gory. I always love the flavor in this series so much. It's probably my third favorite because I was out earlier than the other two but still a great game.

Also, loved the janitors always complaining about the messes in season 4. :P

I loved the location and theme of 5. 5 and 3 are definitely my favorite skins

5 is my favorite skin by far. I'm using it now.
