srly ...the contest is over for me...lol...it is nothing but a "i like that more even it is less good in quality" voting process right now....should have called it MOST LIKEABLE BREAKING BAD SCENE contest or whatever cause the best have been eliminated and or haven't even been nominated to begin with...

finale contenders will probably be: pilote scene vs. atm scene....

I KNEW you'd say this as soon as some of your favorites started getting eliminated. The polls are for popular opinion, not Henry opinion, sorry to say! Just because YOU think some scenes are better doesn't make them objectively better!

The "problem dog" scene is probably in my top 5 but I'm not bitching that it got eliminated. Not everyone has the same opinion as me

well sorry i had you waiting, making you wonder when I'd burst out to make this "baselles" statement until the point where quality clearly got voted out over "less" quality or whatever..by randomization!

the content is called BEST breaking bad scene. there are no criteria people go by when voting for a scene other than, liked it more.
i try to look past my individual likes, at least for a while i do...i go by some terms. like editing, content, music, cut, atmopshere, dialgoue, bigger picture stuff, camera movement....whatevurrr


PS: maybe should have called the contest OBJECTIVELY best breaking bad scene

That's fine but all of that is entirely subjective too. e.g. you can't say one type of content is objectively better than another, because some would say that character scenes are better than action scenes and some would say the opposite.

PS: don't you mean SUBJECTIVELY best! Because yes, that'd be accurate, but I thought that was implied! Everyone else seemed to understand that it's "Best Breaking Bad Scene IN YOUR OPINION"

personally i'm not cool with it really. because taste is so different and not even up to debate i guess. if we were to go by some criteria, people could argue their point of view related to those hit points we could have set up. it would make for more discussion, and clearly scenes of real quality wouldn't be voted out against scenes that just seem more likable in comparison.

edit:i think "best" is pretty much a definite adjective (superlative) and the one you were looking for is FAVORIT. people vote their favorits here and not the best in their opinon, I think. well, that would require them to seperate the two, best and favorit.
cause in my logic (henry logic incoming, brace yourself) the favorit scene isn't better than an actual arguably better scene, determined by above mentioned criteria, just because it is a personal favorite.

If it was all objective there'd be no point in even having a poll. We'd just be CONCLUDING which scene was the best, instead of giving our OPINION. If it was objective it'd be like a multiple choice quiz rather than a poll, because there'd only be one right answer. Have you ever seen a poll that WASN'T meant to be subjective, and in each person's personal opinion? I haven't!

the oscars were supposed to be exactly that, weren't they?!
