Samm was walking from the beach, on his way back home to his studio in LA. He had taken a long vacation, to celebrate the success of his latest movie, and also the death of his fierce rival, Jeffrey. That no good son of a bitch had ruined his marriage. He deserved what he got. As Samm walked down a quiet road, he heard the screeching of tyres. Samm turned around to see a car racing down the road in his direction. It skidded to a halt beside him. The side window rolled down and out popped a man holding a machine gun. He opened fire and Samm was knocked to the floor, riddled with bullets. The assassin jumped back behind the wheel of the car and drove off, leaving Samm bleeding out on the pavement.

Meanwhile, Herm was checking out of a hotel. It had been his home since the Godfather had given the order to go to the mattresses. It was a safe haven, where he could anonymously come and go as he fought the war on the streets. Herm walked up to the revolving door of the hotel and pushed through it. As he did, the doors suddenly jammed. He found himself trapped inside. He turned around expectantly. To his surprise he saw a man stood on the other side of the glass, pointing a gun at him.
“No!” he shouted, reaching for his own weapon.
He didn't reach it in time. His assailant shot him right between the eyes.

Shadow isn't scum lol. There was definitely an inventor because of the items given out and no one has counter claimed that, so it had to be Shadow. Same thing with Greenday and the role blocker, no one counter claimed, unless there isn't a town roleblocker which I doubt.
I can see Brian, you or Christian being scum. We don't even know if there is still one or two scum left, but I'm leaning toward just one more.

I don't recall Herm ever intentionally hitting mafia. I hate when power roles are given to the wrong people. Also, it was pretty obvious that Samm didn't have a role that gave out any orders as night due to us having a day occur earlier than 24 hours period when we would have needed to wait on his inactive action if he had a role with an action.
