I was really looking forward to the havok that the motivator role might have caused, sadly it did nothing. Even though it was used 3 times and was unblockable.

Where did I say I was great?

Im pretty sure my claim helped this game though! Mafia wasted two kills on me when I pretty much just committed suicide by going over to Bryce. Considering mafia where just 1 kill away from winning the game, id say it was helpful to some extent.

IIRC the first attempt on you was just because of bussing/redirecting shenanigans

There are ways to protect yourself without directly outing a role.

You know what you could've done?

Claimed the fucking motivator role. Said OKAY GUYS HERE IS MY ROLE: MOTIVATOR.

My brain would've connected straight away and gone "hey yeah, I was motivated! Ari must be town". I would've jumped off the lynch train and said I believed your vote. Much more discreet, much better way to carry it out.

There was literally no reason at all to out that I had a role.

And even so, what if I hadn't had a role? What were you hoping to achieve by that? It really wasn't well thought out.

Also I don't think cops should leap around casting lynch votes every which way. I was trying to avoid it as the "doctor" but since having a role outed I figured it didn't matter much anyway.

Everyone would have said that a simple mafia game wouldnt have a silly role like the motivator and called me scum for claiming such an obscure role. I would have totally been lynched if I didnt have any one backing me up.

I also figured by claiming I could do 2x more motivations. Mal said it was unblockable and I thought it highly unlikely that the doctor wouldnt protect me after I claimed. So two solid motivations on Curtis / Bryce who I was 99% sure where town was always going to be a very good thing for the town! Sadly they didnt have roles but its not like I knew that.

Would it matter if you didnt have a role? Didnt you say you would unlynch when I claimed motivator? It was pretty darn obvious what I was claiming with my boost.

Also you didnt need to go batshit on me. Made it very obvious you had a good role. Could have played it cooler. I was hoping you where BP and where trying to pull a con on the mafia but alas

It was an incredibly dangerous move. The only person to gain from it directly was yourself and this is your whole problem with the game. It's not always best to benefit yourself. Town wins as a group. Sometimes you have to take one for the team.

OH HELL NO. srsly, really seriously - I was a great cop. I didn't buy wikey's claim btw. I busted down vernon big time. did him the old skool detective way: no guns, no evidence - I just looked at the quote, picked the vibe up, went along with it, totally confident, and hit the nail on the head.

I was blocked 2 nights in a row, so I was basically nilla, and had no intel at all, still I managed to look through some of the stuff behind the scenes. called out fröken aswell...whatever...

you cannont say I sucked and expect me to be cool with it/or to be taken seriously etc (:

But henry why was going around planting lynches every which was a good cop action? How did that help us? It just made us assume you'd scanned people after your death and were voting on fact rather than "instinct".

Wherent there only 2-3 hours left when I claimed? Im pretty sure I didnt have much time to just let it drag out or take any risks with the claim. I thought about leaving you out of it but I honestly didnt think anyone would believe me (beside you IF you had a role) having an obscure role like the motivator in a SIMPLE MAFIA game like Mal said.

There where only two kills when I motivated you. Had you been the don / sk im sure you would have relished in the possibility of killing twice in one night. Curtis said he would at least when I asked him.

Trust us both as town? Im pretty sure a lot of people said you could still be mafia even if you confirmed my story. I dont think anyone considered you cleared as town

Im sure I wasnt the only person to gain from it. When I claimed I was sure the mafia would roleblock me the following night (dunno if they actually did it but I thought it was logical considering a motivating townie is dangerous), which I knew was impossible cause it wasnt blockable thus allowing someone else to use his role, in theory at least. Then I took a hit even if it was indirectly and was saved that would probably have hit someone else. Then I didnt get lynched and the mafia was forced to use a kill on me which would have definitively be used on someone else had I been lynched!

Anyways we can argue what COULD have happened but what did happen was that town won! Yay!

where was I planting lynches evrywhere? and come on, how many people could I have scanned FOR real in 2 nights? no rocketscience for sure. not my fault you didn't wanna roll with my lynch on scummy vernon, and not my fault you decided to look at my "leads" after my death. as i said, I was basically a nilla, as i was blocked and when i got a result back i was dead the next day.
