- Edgy wannabe Death Note with mechas, it's good but not top tier IMO, but a lot of people love it so idno. Can scratch that Death Note itch though.

- Solid new shounen with great animation. Season 2 just started I think. It's also really popular along with MHA.

-I think this show is what people who say they don't like anime think all anime is like. -Haven't watched it yet since allegedly the anime doesn't do the manga justice. It's been on my to watch list for so long, you should tell me if it's good or naw.

If you haven't seen Gurren Lagann and you like HYPE then you should def watch it soon btw.

- I have read both the manga/watched the anime of this. Never really finished either. This got some great comedy. I'll try to finish this series at some point when I have the time, now that it's finished, although the show's flaws kept me off the first time when it was still ongoing lol.

- The GOAT. This is a big investment. It's really good, but it's far from finished and there are a massive amount of episodes. Probably the perfect show to watch during a lockdown lmao.

I decided on Erased now that I’ve completely finished Assassination Classroom. Saw it was on Netflix and only 12 episodes long and I had an asterisk next to it with a great must watch rec from Merc.

Erased is super interesting so far. Such a nice change from every other anime I’ve seen so far. I like the animation style too. It’s nice being grounded in reality but at the same time not at all as well. The twist at the end of episode 1 and continuation into 2 has me intrigued.

I finished Erased by the way and ehhhh I didn’t love it. Was expecting a bigger payoff. It was a nice change from all the other animes i had been watching though but I’m not sure why it was so highly recommended to me. That said a lot of other people rave about it so maybe it’s just not my taste

I’ve decided to start Neon Genesis Evangelion apparently one of the all time greats of anime. It’s only like 20 something episodes so a nice short ish watch. Anyone seen it?

Halfway through Neon Genesis and I still don't know how I feel about it lol

I can firmly say I hate the cicadas in Japan though
