Boc stood beside Curtis, looking out over the nervous faces of Perry, Greenday, and Samm. He coughed into his plastic flipper and began to speak.

"So here I sit, the nicest boy of all
Having to decide to which naughty one death must befall

It is truly a rotten task, but one that I must do
Perry, you are safe
I'm not enough of a Grinch to do that to you

So it comes down to the two misfit toys
It is up to me to decide between those naughty boys

One came at me like an early bird
Did not miss a beat getting in a word

The other came later, and didn't have as much to say
And so for lack of better options, for that they must pay

Sry Samm pls forgive
But I'm afraid you are not fit to live"



“o ok thx guys” said Samm in his pretentious Samm manner. “bi.”

Samm stuffed his ten presents into his bag and prepared to leave. He went down the row of his fellow travelers and said his goodbyes.

"Bye Samm :( " said DD
"Bye Samm!" said Ari
"Thanks Boc! Bye Samm :( " said Greenday
"Bye Samm" said Dylan
"Bye Samm" said Paco
"Bye Samm" said Nofo
"Bye Samm" said Perry
"Bye Samm" said Patrick
"No." said KC
"Bye Samm" said Vic
"Bye Samm" said Bryce, with a wink. For Samm, that was perhaps the hardest goodbye of all.

Samm turned to Curtis. "so uhh...where do I go"

Curtis pointed his finger out in a direction. "The helicopter will pick you up just over that way!"



"o good." Samm replied.


Curtis took the remaining twelve and moved on as Samm walked further from the group, who soon vanished from sight. Deflated, Samm trudged through the deep snow in search for the helicopter.

Over the loud wind, Samm could hear snow crunching behind him. He whipped around......nothing. With his hand up above his eyes, he looked out through the thick snowfall, but no one was there.

Samm turned back around and was struck in the face by an assailant. The heavy base to Samm's Jack in the Box costume made him topple over, knocking him backwards into the snow.

The dark figure stood over Samm, blocking out the sun above them. Samm could hardly make out his attackers' face.

"...you?" he said, stunned.

"That's right. Me."

The figure reached down and violently shoved Samm into his large, square Jack in the Box base. The lid was slammed shut and Samm was stuff inside, his muffled screams hardly audible over the wind.

After winding the base up, the attacker let go. The lid burst open, ejecting Samm out of the box and high into the air. Samm screamed as he sailed out into the distance.

"FUCKKKK YOUUUU CURTIS!!"

Samm disappeared on the horizon line with a twinkle. Samm's assailant traced Samm's footsteps backwards and set off to hunt down the rest of the group.
