Yeah I can scan to see ALL the items they have (I'm assuming, since I was able to see Shawn had the bong and BP vest), so I was scanning Shawn to see if he had any items of the victims of mafia killings, because then he could have picked them up if he killed them.

Some people were thinking Shawn/Samm/Curtis could have been town/3rd party/mafia BP's, so I was just scanning Shawn to see if I could confirm that. I had no other leads so I went with that.

Animal, have you scanned other people? Can you find out items every night? Anyone look suspicious from their items?

It was a general thing. Has been a few this game. And it could end up helping scum too if they want the item bad enough.

Unrelated note - I'm pretty sure Vic's tow truck is more of a puppet master type of role, not a bus driver.

Anyway...

That would imply Shawn was the hitman though which would be a bit unorthodox. Mafia mole I can see, but mafia mole and killer? I dunno. I can kind of see that theory, but at the same time, I feel like it could have been used for more useful people.

I'll just come right out and say this - when I picture a role cop in this game, the only person I can picture is Lester at his computer looking into people's backgrounds. Just from a game balance stand point, I'm sure there's an alignment cop out there somewhere. But a role cop too? Role cop is typically a mafia thing to begin with and I only ever see it as a town role when the town has a lot of weak roles. This, however, is an extremely powerful role. Especially if you can find every item a player has. Sounds like a handy tool for someone who could perhaps relay the information to a killer who can steal said items the next night, no?

Maybe I'm over-analyzing things but every time I see you post, you sound like you're putting serious effort into sounding as pro-town as possible which sounds more artificial than anything else. Add that into claiming an investigative role early in the game when it really wasn't very necessarily to begin with, comes off to me as trying to clear yourself from the get-go so people lay off you.

We don't have much to go on so maybe I am grasping at straws here. But I feel it's worth a discussion ;)

Animal shook his head somberly. The massacre of the night before was devastating. He had even just got Shawn to open up to him, and hours later...he was dead, just like that. Such a cruel world.

Thank you Lamps for coming clean about the vig kills. I wish you picked better targets but that's behind us. I was actually building a case on you as scum but now I'm going to drop that since you would be dumb to lying about AIDs, considering you're dying tonight. You die at the end of the day? or do you still have one vig kill left in you?

Also, while I don't know how FF has contributed to the game, lynching him for complaining about role claiming is silly.

The way I see it right now, with only one mafia dead so far and a whole lot of townies dead, we really need to lynch scum tonight. I actually agree with what KC said about looking at people who just joined lynch trains with little to no reason why. So I'm going to go back and look at the Perry lynch train since that's the only scum dead so far.

Animal... since you've already claimed... you might as well tell us if you've discovered anything else about your items you've been watching (or whatever).

The amount of daykills in this game is very fucking odd, must say. That's usually a town role too so I'm a bit baffled as to how and why it keeps happening. What the fuck?

I also wanted to make a note on the tow truck... it hasn't been used at all. There could still be a busdriver out there (and I actually think there IS), but it's weird that this item wasn't used at all yet.

Same with Paco's camera... he only used it once??? Why!!!!
