-- Rita concentrated. This was going to be hard but she was given very specific instructions. She didn't know what the consequences of this were and truth be told, it scared the hell out of her.
She hadn't wanted to tell the group just in case somebody misused it. But the fact was, it was now or never.
"Here goes..." She said wearily.
She shut her eyes and begin to speak in the deepest voice she could muster.
"What was that?!" Hobert shouted. Tyrese looked up. It was becoming hard to focus.
"Just grab hold of something!" Rita shouted as the tower began to shake.
Both the Butcher and Bear stopped what they were doing as they tried to steady themselves. Something enormous was coming and it was causing the whole tower to rock back and forth. Boone scrambled to the edge, took one look down and shrieked above the crashing sounds.
What came up from below was very hard to describe. It was like what might happen if a squid, a fungus and Godzilla were interbred with one another. It was all tentacles and gigantic eyes...at least they looked like eyes. It was very hard to tell. The Butcher considered his options as the beast rose around the tower. Bear decided the best option was to flee. He dashed towards the stairwell just in time to be tripped over by a rogue tentacle.
He looked up with a scream as another one shot straight through his forehead. It crawled around his body and constricted him tightly.
The tentacle hoisted itself up with Bear attached in front of the group and for a moment, the tower stopped shaking.
"Would somebody mind explaining...." Said Peter weakly.
"DO NOT SEEK TO UNDERSTAND, MORTAL. FOR IT IS BEYOND YOUR COMPREHENSION." The words came out of Bear's mouth in a horribly deep drawl.
"Okay then!" Said Peter throwing his hands up in the air.
"Urk? Is that....is that really you?" Asked Rita nervously.
"URK. THIS IS A MORTAL NAME. IT IS A NAME WE MAY HAVE USED AT ONE POINT. IT IS NOT A TRUE NAME. NAMES ARE A CONCEPT WE HAVE NO VALUE OR NEED FOR. WE ARE NOT A THING THAT CAN BE NAMED. YOU COULD TRY TO BUT THERE DO NOT EXIST ENOUGH OF YOUR MORTAL YEARS TO NAME US TRULY."
Wilt Silverstone
Game: Lab 3
Played By: Dylan
Role: Lonely Twin
Quote: "In the words of the future people... Catch you on the flop side. Hopefully I said it right." - Wilt
Death: Eaten by Leviathan.
Memorable Moment(s):
- His turbulent love affair with Brie.
- The fishing trip from hell.
- Swinging the hatchet at the very Queen he swore to protect.
- The drama of the statue room, where he switched roles with Mark and was ousted as (former) scum by Marek.
-- Wilt cracked his knuckles. Fishing was romantic. Maybe he'd catch a wedding band for his beloved. He winked at her, much to the eye-rolling of the onlookers. Taking up the pole in arm, he splashed it down in the turbulent waters with a firm nod.
The waves were getting aggressive now. They splashed up hard against the side of the wooden plank, almost causing Wilt to topple over. He managed to regain his composure though. He was feeling it. The rush of nature, the force of the primal urge. He was going to provide like nobody else could. With a snap of the rod forth, he felt something latch onto him. He pulled but whatever it was, was huge.
He smiled. This could be their wedding feast. It was long overdue. Just a little more...just a little more....
With a frantic tug, he yanked forth with all his might. And then the world turned blue. There was a tremendous scream as water engulfed the whole plank. The rod was dropped and Wilt was up in the air. Brie's eye finally took in what they were seeing and she screamed out, trying to rush over. Stonehard Lee held her firmly in place.
"There's nothing you can do!" He shouted above the torrential forces. Urk looked on, confused as the monstrous creature lashed forth with its mighty deadly jaws. The long and scaly body below stretched out as far as the eye could see. The back was covered in razor sharp fins. It clamped down, holding Wilt firmly in place with its mighty jaws, twisting its snake-like tongue around him. He glanced down at Brie, mouthing something that she couldn't hear above the rush but she understood.
Tears poured from her eyes as the beast leapt, arcing down into the water, glancing back for a second with reptilian eyes before splashing hard into the waves. It disappeared beneath, the blue and green scales no longer in sight. A fish-like tail slapped down into the depths last. The fishing rod was still in place, the beast hadn't caught onto it.
There was a silence for a long time as Brie wailed out into the dark and stormy night. Finally, after a moment of silence, the water splashed once more. Wilt's body slammed down onto the side of the planking. He was looking up at the air with cold, dead eyes. Brie rushed over to him but there was nothing there now. The feast was done.
