This has gotta be the fewest Best Picture noms I've seen in recent years

I've only seen Oppenheimer and Poor Things. Interested in seeing all of them though

Poor Things / Zone of Interest / Holdovers are top of my list to see next, prob will get to all of them eventually

Of the nominees, I've seen Barbie, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, and Poor Things. Past Lives was my favorite, one of those movies that I predict will be remembered alongside Eternal Sunshine and Lost in Translation as good for those lovesick, wistful nights. I do want to see American Fiction as well, it looks pretty funny. I would have seen Flower Moon already if it wasn't 3.5 hours. I'm sure it's great but that's just asking a lot.

watched Poor Things last night so I've officially watched all the BP nominees / most of the 2023 movies I wanted to see

Flower Moon, Holdovers, Anatomy of a Fall are def tops for the year for me

I wanted to watch anatomy of a fall but Ahoda’s version on the Plex is in Italian (original movie seems to be in French)

It’s so weird reading subtitles and also hearing a bad dub, I couldn’t do it
