If anyone watched and loved the Korean strategy/game/variety show The Genius, this is made by the same guy and is VERY similar. Watch! It's on Netflix. The first 4 episodes are out now. I believe there will be 12.

I've been wanting to watch The Genius but haven't gotten around to it. Binged a new Dutch(?) version that aired last year and enjoyed it. I'll check this out

The white guy's strategy was my strategy when I first came to this site and played in my first mafia games. :heart: The fanatic was super clutch in the first game.

Wow I love this already, barely one ep in. The player intros were so good, I feel like I got to know everyone really well with just a few lines. I loved the edit after the prize money was introduced and they played a voice clip from each contestant over their faces, that was great. Showed you the mindset every single player was in right away

Yess! And they just dropped 5 more episodes today so there's 9 available now. There's 3 more that'll be dropped next Tuesday. I just watched episode 5. The show is so fun. So happy The Genius could come back in this form even if it's a little different. I do miss the old format. But this is better than never getting more Genius.

The terrorist game was so good. I loved the reveals of the gestures they had to do in public. And the editing with flashbacks and reveals and rewatching new scenes in a new light, really great. I've only seen that one Dutch version of The Genius but I'm assuming the South Korean version might do more of this fun flashback editing, I'm excited to see more and more of that throughout the season. Particularly liked the flashback to pre-game when Terrorist and Fanatic made that deal on the couch Terrorist 2 played it very well. Haven't finished ep 2 yet, just the Terrorist portion

I like the inclusion of the team prize game instead of just every person for themselves. Makes it more Mole like

I'm rooting so hard for the minority 4 over this majority 8. I also happen to like those four more than I like most if not all from the eight. I feel bad for the youngest kid, sucks that they’re teaming up on him Orbit's gotta go, I'm tired of his plans to control everything, 3/3 challenges so far

Damn. Glad young kid (Dong?) survived but sad for Guillaum (gonna butcher all names). He played the confused role in Terrorist game perfectly and was the MVP of the spinning puzzle for sure. He got robbed I was hoping the pro Go (?) player who was constantly stuck in jail would be eliminated

The memory one was fun, that girl killed it. Another tricky flashback prank on the audience when they showed the group settle on the date being Feb 28th so we thought she got it wrong, only for the edit to reveal they actually swapped it to March 1st. I love that shit Really liking this show

Noooooooo :( Youngster getting eliminated second sucks, he was definitely my favorite. I was so hoping the flashback would reveal that his trio really was working together still or that he fed that girl the wrong number. I would’ve been sad if he betrayed that other girl though (actress?) Ugh, that one girl got manipulated so hard by the majority group. That sucked, I’m mad at her but more mad at the majority for dicking my guy over. I want that alliance to crumble so bad, Orbit is such a hypocrite Love the actor, him and the other girl from the original four minority are my favorites rn. I want them to go on a revenge tour

lol god damn, Actor (Seok-jin?) eliminating Go player was hardcore. So out of the blue. Prime opportunity to take out Orbit or Lawyer (Dong?) but this was probably smart since this was the last prison. He was ice cold about it. So good I’ve loved everything with the pieces fittings together and his cliffhanger gasp an episode before this when he realized he saw letters, that was great. Just got to the cliffhanger where they open the secret door, loved that Still definitely rooting for Seok-Jin and See-Won the most, then and Young Dong (not lawyer Dong) have been my favorites by far. I wanna see Orbit’s posse fall and scatter, though I like everyone individually really

Yayyy, never thought I’d be happy about an Orbit survival but I’m glad Yu-Min left. She started to get more cutthroat down the stretch but just didn’t really have a presence in the edit I’m only halfway through the ep but this is a great final four. All strong players Edit: oh they’re still playing math poker, I guess one more leaves? I missed that
