Spin (4/4) - Havo, Penner, Herm, Spin

I have a lot of thoughts on Spin hammering himself as Mafia. I feel like there's two possibilities for why he did this. One possibility is Rodney was his teammate, was fairly inactive, and after the Farlig flip and the pressure on Spin, Spin just frustratingly gave in and hammered himself. Having been on a Mafia team with Spin a game or two ago, it's possible, but I also think it's just as likely, if not moreso, that if he was going to hammer himself like that it would be for a purpose. I would hope? Why hammer yourself when there are potentially 1 or 2 other members of the mafia team still alive?

What I personally thought immediately after seeing Spin hammer himself was that he'd only do that if it was to help conceal one of his teammates. Meaning one of them would've already been a vote on his train.

Herm's flip confirms TT to be town. So that's good for us. It woulda made more sense to kill TT. @scum

Anyone coming in to say they think Mafia was made up of 2 members can find the nearest airlock. Farlig and Spin voted the way they did eod against tib for a reason. They've both flipped scum. Seems like the reason would be to spare teammate Rodney who was also in contention with votes that day. I've also thought if it is a team of 4 and not a team of 3, then it would all make even more sense if they were responsible for 2 of the 3 kills that night. They could've assumed town couldn't kill anymore. They'd take out two. Come into the day, tie it 4-4, and win at night. But since Farlig died, it was now a F7 with only 3 of them left.

There was either 4 of them or 3 of them. But there's def a 3p since no one from town has come forward about the farlig kill. So we're still looking for 2-3 scum, I think. There's a slim possibility we're only looking for 1, if mafia started with 3, and Curtis's janitored role was the cause of Farlig's death.

Given that Spin hammered himself, it feels like there'd only be 1 mafia on his train if they were on it and only 3 mafia in total in the game? Otherwise the three of them coulda just tried to get the vote onto someone else? But anything is possible. Especially since if it was a team of 4 of them (with Rodney among them), they coulda felt like Rodney's trip doesn't make him all that reliable. And no other votes were really gaining traction.

So yeah! I think we need to be considering Havo, Penner, and Rodney as the lynch pool for today. TT is off the table for me. Saving teammate Rodney seems the most likely reason for Farlig and Spin's EOD votes for tib. I just dunno if there's 2 mafia left, 1 third party, and 2 town. Or if it's 1 mafia, 1 third party, 3 town. Or 1 mafia, 4 town. What are you thinking about everything TT?

Herm was Obsessed? More like Possessed after the way he behaved towards the end there. I’m surprised he was killed too, but frankly he’s more town-read to me than Rodney and Stargate so I’m not shocked.

We’ve got a 48 hour deadline and only two people have checked in but right now I don’t see a reason to vote someone other than Rodney. I guess the only argument would be if we feel it’s better to go for the arsonist but I don’t think that’s necessary.

Given that Spin flipped as a doll but was scum, I’m no longer confident in Havo so I definitely want to hear more from him today and probably a full claim

If we lynch mafia!Rodney and he’s the last mafia/non-Arsonist scum left then I think Town shares a win with the arsonist right? Assuming the win con of the arsonist is to just kill a certain amount of people. If we have a SK with an arsonist mechanism then no bueno.

Stargate idk how you don’t see that I’m town since I was a pivotal vote on Spin yesterday, am an un-CC’d heartbeat detector (cop-ish), and have been very consistent and vocal in my reads/beliefs

There were glitter bombs deployed at the beginning of day 5 that knocked out Nav and Farlig

To clarify, the glitter bombs weren’t deployed during day 5 but just a separate post for N4 actions before Josh opened the day
