Welcome to Last Friday Night Mafia, the fourth program run on the Holodeck or something.

Holodeck safety protocols are in effect, so please adhere to these rules during your journey in this game. These rules are pretty boiler plate, but it's your job to follow them, so make sure you know what needs knowing. Ignorance doesn't fly in this court of law. I'd hate to have to limit your privileges, or worse. Mod killing could be a thing!!

General Rules

1. Be active. No matter what your role is, be active. Play to your win condition. Don't let those around you down if you can help it.
2. Do not talk about the game outside of this board.
3. Do not quote anything sent to you in a private message. You may paraphrase.
4. Do not reveal your character. Never reveal your character.
5. If you have any questions, you can PM me and ask.
6. Every Day Phase there will be a lynching. The person with the majority of votes at the end of deadline will be lynched.
7. 51% of the votes are needed for a hammer. [Example: 22 people start. It'd take 12 to hammer.]
8. If the vote is tied at the deadline, you will be given 30 more minutes to decide the vote. If the vote is still tied after that 30 minutes, there will be no lynch.
9. Day Phases will last about 24 hours. Night phases will last about 24 hours.
10. Night actions will be due at 7PM EST. Rounds will open and end at 8PM EST.
11. Survivals will be announced.
12. No editing of posts.

Each of you was randomly given a character/role. Your abilities may be loosely based off of the character you have received or they may not be. Regardless, you are not allowed to reveal the character you've received. You can, however, claim your role whenever you like, etc.

Generic Win Conditions (If present)

Town: You win when all the threats to the Town have been eliminated.
Mafia: You win when all the threats to the Mafia have been eliminated and you make up 50% (or more) of the remaining players.
Cult: You win when all the threats to the Cult have been eliminated and you make up 50% (or more) of the remaining players.
Survivor: Be alive when any one faction reaches their win condition.
Serial Killer: Be the last player standing.
Other 3rd Party/Unaligned: Win conditions may vary based on role.
