Hello FE

Lately I've had an ITCH to watch more movies. I used to watch at least one a week when I was a kid (usually more) but now I think for all of 2022 so far ive seen one new-to-me movie! Pathetic!

I've been going through a lot lately, but this has been a bit of a regular sticking point for me that I want to make some time for. The problem is: honestly I have no idea what I want to watch!

I've watched very few movies that have come out in the last 5-10 years, but I also missed a lot of CLASSICS. I tend to stick to either things highly recommended to me, or things that are on on TV when I happen to flip through channels. And since I stopped having cable, the latter is gone, and I haven't followed through on recommendations in a while. TBH there's a bit of a PRESSURE to really pay attention to something well loved and regarded, so I put off watching until i can give it the time it needs. And thats not really working out for me!

I think what I miss is the randomness of just watching whatever's on TNT or USA or Family Channel or Comedy Central or whatever. And HONESTLY, I don't think I even care that much about watching something I'll like, as much as just watching new things and getting back into the habit.

So that's where you guys come in!

I need recommendations. For good movies, bad movies, old, new, etc. Some CLASSICS would be good but random bullshit's fine too. I'll probably add some movies to the list too. I'll let you know if it's something I've already seen, but some movies I don't remember well I wouldn't mind rewatching. I'll also try to make sure it's a movie i can actually find available to me before I add it.

I'll stick them all in a list, and every weekend (probably at a set time, but maybe not) I'll randomize the list and watch whatever it lands on. I'll update the lists and give a brief review. It'll be fun!

Def make a Letterboxd. When I first made mine it led me to watching more movies than I ever had. Worth it even for the Watchlist feature alone
