Anyone else watching this? It's a show created by Riot, who are the developers of League of Legends. It involves characters from the game but you don't really need to know anything about it to enjoy the ride. It came out a few days ago and you can watch it on Netflix. It's dropping three episodes weekly for three weeks.
The first three are already out and they have been fucking awesome so far IMO. The art style is awesome, the plot is intriguing, the characters feel like they have depth to them. It's hands down the best show that I have ever seen based on a video game, and if the next two installments are as good as the first one then it's up there for one of my favorite animated shows period.
I also think it's really cool that the writers are basically just employess at Riot who had vision, and not people who already had a body of work in the industry. You'd really have no idea from watching it, it feels very polished.
