You are such a great little helper that each night you will randomly carry out the kill with one of the following modifiers: Strongman (pierces protections), Ninja (cannot be seen or tracked), Unalterable (target cannot be switched by other’s actions. Aka cannot be redirected, bussed, nexus’d, etc ) You will meet your win condition when the mafia has reached 50% or more of the remaining player.

congrats to mafia for that absolute route of a victory! I thought the setup was pretty balanced but I am open to a constructive discussion about it. It could have easily gone the other direction had Christian not died. Here are some thoughts on my setup, skip if you don't care.

I believe in Minimal Power Roles. I don’t like to see lazy scum-catching from roles. It’s still a part of the game and there were still helpful roles on both sides, but the setup was meant for scumhunting, not being delivered scum. Mafia didn’t have a ton of power themselves. I baked the double messenger into the setup as a potential advantage for them and the sleepwalker was there too but he would have had to visit the self watcher for anything to come of it. The main power ability for the mafia was the ability to recruit their final player, which isn’t as big as it sounds considering it was just an ability to make them go from shorthanded to normal sized, but the risk/reward of waiting for the right recruit vs being screwed if stargate died without using it was fun, and they sure gave themselves a big advantage by waiting for the right moment. The Nexus was really just to lower their chances of getting killed by the SK (and was a good claim after herm's flip about protection from altering the target) and the absorber had potential but was pretty weak considering the roles it was absorbing were pretty weak to begin with. I don’t think Mafia was particularly overpowered in the setup, I think they just used what they had to perfection and took advantage of town’s passive attitude. Town didn’t have a ton to work with either but they did get a roleblocker, a few kills, including the bomb that was pretty much guaranteed to hit scum, the voyeur/self watcher combo, and a backup for good measure. There were plenty of tools to work with, and the voyeur had actually witnessed a game-changing event the night he died. Pretty tragic for town. I liked the idea of a ton of messages going all over and someone being able to see them. With the two town messengers, the 1-shot for mafia, the absorber, the backup, and the announcer, there could have been a ridiculous amount of communication going around and it would have been pretty funny to see Havo’s reaction to the messages multiplying each night, sadly it didn’t work out that way but it also wasn’t the biggest deal. I also will always try to give scum roles that are claimable or room to claim believable roles. I wanted to leave out some typical town roles for this purpose. Admittedly, the 1-shot kill for town was added late and it might have made things a lot harder for the SK since it seemed to take a vig claim off the board, which is why i left off a vig in the first place, but by the end of things he probably could have just claimed SK with how the game was going.

HOF
-The entire mafia team for pretty much never being suspected the entire game. You guys were INCREDIBLE. I don’t know how but even on the last day I could have given town 4 do-over lynches and I am pretty sure none of you would have been strung up. Simply amazing. Well done by all of you.
- Christian is probably the only town i can give good marks to, Would have been an entirely different game had he not been killed the night he was. He had damning information to share and tried hard to scumhunt

HOL
- anyone alive on D3 who wasn’t mafia. It was hard to watch this completely non-urgent Day 3 when any basic mafia setup knowledge should have alerted the town they are in grave danger if they did not lynch mafia. The celebration of the catching of the SK was pretty baffling. Had Curtis showed up to claim he probably should have been able to claim SK and not get lynched given how dire the situation was, but he was a no-show and town was oblivious and lackadaisical. The lynch/day kill options couldn’t have been worse too. Given there was not much information to go around on anyone, it was pretty bad that the town didn’t explore all options and look for more claims than just one vanilla claim that everyone was itching to kill when that everyone was about 50% scum licking their lips.

Thanks everyone for playing, this setup was a long time coming, I’m sorry it ended so abruptly, Had Christian been alive to get Tib lynched it probably would have been a much longer and closer game, but I think this scum team would have won regardless, they were pretty flawless with their play in the day threads and how they used their roles.
