The news is true. You can trust the tabloids this time.

I’m driving across America from LA to NY in a week. Taking the southern route there. Then toward the end of June I’ll be driving back from NY to LA, taking mostly the northern route that time. I’ve always wanted to do this trip. My dad did it a few times and I figure there’s no better time than now, right?

Enjoy getting stuck behind 126 18-wheeled trucks on your way out of Memphis heading towards Birmingham on 78/I-22! Actually I just mapped it and good maps smartly tells you to go down I-55 to the I269 cut through and over to 78/I-22.

If you have an extra day or 2, I would recommend going from Memphis to New Orleans, then driving over to the beach in the Florida panhandle, and then up to Atlanta.

Birmingham is a pretty fun town, but if you haven't been to New Orleans it's a must and the beaches in that stretch of the panhandle are some of the best in the world.

That was the original plan actually but I'm only staying one night in each location (or literally driving through and not staying the night, like Birmingham for example). I want to spend at least a few nights in New Orleans so I'm saving it for a future trip.

Also I've already been to Nashville so cutting down to Birmingham made the most sense IMO.

The beaches along the coast I've always wanted to do as well. IDK when that'll happen.

I am passing through DC incrediblyyyyyy briefly. Potentially just driving through but possibly a quick stop.

Philly I am staying overnight in the Northern Liberties. Where you at?

Can you bring Plex God to our lunch?

You’ll be doing Route 66 from LA to OKC. There are very small remnants of the old highway in Oklahoma, but you have to research where they are.
