Worth it?

I think you should at least check it out. It's when they were brought into the DC Universe.
There are some parts/characters that are kind of cool.
I think there's only 12 issues, so it shouldn't take that long.

I'm making an effort to read more books. I've got a small pile to work through and only a small dent put in it so far. I also started a new prescription which has turned my focus all the way up to 11 (it's not Adderall)

The first book I read this year was Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. The title is pretty self-explanatory, a retelling of the life of Achilles told from the point of view of his companion/lover Patroclus. Took me a while to read, but that was more my fault than the book. Her writing is excellent and her other book titled Circe is another on my list.

The second and most recent book is The Nature of Witches by Rachel Griffin. I read the whole book in less than 24 hours (thanks meds!). I found her writing style similar to mine so it was easy for me to read page after page and lose track of time.

Don't know what I'm going to read next tbh! I have a couple of books from the last time I went to the bookstore, with three more from my trip yesterday so I have many options right now, with a whole amazon wishlist of more I'll order later on.

I have the entire Riverworld series on my bookshelf waiting to be read, but I also want to read The Wheel of Time book series after having read the first like 5-10 chapters of the first book, and just loving it to it's core. I'm just so slow on the reading.

I have a hard time having time and patience to sit down and read books.

I started listening to audibooks when I'm out exercising a month ago. I'm currently on book 6/14 of the Wheel of Time series. I'll probably finish the series sometimes next year lol.

I love audiobooks and podcasts! But my brain often feels like that's cheating these past couple years. So I haven't audiobooked much in a long time. I always want to be reading the sentences and seeing how the author is writing, to improve my own silly desires in writing having a dumb English degree and all that. As if my memory isn't a goldfish memory. But I remember my mom, lol, reading me the early Harry Potter books forever ago and then when I was in college audiobooking the last book in the series cause reading it just wasn't it. Had to listen to it.

I think I just gotta start audiobooking more tbh. Especially at night before bed. There's so many up on the youtubes for free.

That series will take a rather large time commitment. TV series coming soon, though!

Ordeal by Innocence. Another Agatha Christie book checked off the list in my quest to read everything by her. Trying to ramp it up since I usually take *cough* year long breaks

There's this Canadian author Shari Lapena. I've only read one of her books, An Unwanted Guest, but it gave me Agatha Christie vibes.

I'll see if I can look into the Riverworld books sometimes this year.

Never heard of them, but they seem appreciated.

Besides, it says they are science fiction.

Tender Is The Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica

Jesus. Fucking BLEAK! Full of horrid imagery. “ Tender is the Flesh portrays a society in which a virus has contaminated all animal meat. Because of the lack of animal flesh, cannibalism becomes legal.”

Very good. My first non-Agatha Christie novel in uh….ages upon ages. Probably gonna the to read more horror

I read The Reunion by Guillaume Musso recently, that was pretty good.

I'm currently reading Before the Fall by Noah Hawley. The first Noah Hawley book I read was The Punch. They are both good reads. You might recognize his name as he's written and produced for some tv series.
