Fives teams set off from the snowy central-European country of Austria to the metropolis in the desert: Dubai! Not too much drama or excitement came in the leg before the final yield of the season. First place Gregg Pat & Nick Hat decided to yield the team they felt were their strongest competitors: TT & Stargate. Meanwhile, the boiling rivalry between Vern & TiB and Roland & Sadiq escalated yet another step when Roland/Sadiq decided to repay Vern & TiB for an earlier yield against them in leg 4. Unfortunately Vern & TiB had already zoomed past the yield mat so this had no impact except for increasing tensions between the two factions.
In the end, TT & Stargate couldn't overcome their yield but were once again given an elimination reprieve.

Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks. It is from here where five teams will continue their race around the world for $20.
Gregg Pat & Nick Hat who arrived at 7:10 on Saturday, February 27th will depart slightly before 12 hours later (due to their first place reward and then the 5 min pretzel detour credit) at 19:05 on Saturday, February 27th

Right now I think a deadline of Monday at 8pm EST is reasonable. If we need to move it to Tuesday I think that's fine, but please assume it's due Monday. And as always feel free to submit things WELL IN ADVANCE of the deadline. I'm looking at you lazy teams.
