As the group returned to their houseboats for the night, they were all looking forward to a restful night's sleep after a stressful day. They all grabbed some food and settled into their beds for the night. Just moments before the sun was to rise, the group was awaken by the sound of a large explosion. They quickly got dressed and hurries outside to see what had happened.



All they could see was the flaming wreckage of the front half of a houseboat. The back half was scattered over the water around the boat. There wasn't anything left of the resident of the boat, other than a voting machine with the label "Nav" on the side.

Player: Nav Role: Indian Regional Governor Ability: Each night can select one of the following actions to take which affect the voting the following day: a. Hanging Chad -- Select one player and their vote will not count in the day ending total the following day phase b. Vote-by-mail -- Select one player and their vote will count for two in the day ending total the following day phase c. Fake ID -- Select one player and steal their vote for the following day. The stolen vote can be cast in your PF or via PM to the mod, and will show up as ??? during vote counts. d. Emergency Legislation -- Can modify the vote count needed for a lynch up to +2/-2 from normal (i.e. if it would take 9 votes for a lynch normally, you could set the number to be anywhere from 7 to 11). This cannot be used to lower the total needed to hammer below the total number of Indians alive at the start of the day phase. e. Weather the Storm -- Can modify the total time available for the next phase. Select a whole hour amount between 20 and 28 hours for the day length. (Final time will be dependent on the mod, as I'm not getting up at 4 am to close a thread, for example.) f. Stop the Steal -- Can cause the day to end with a no lynch. Must be used more than 30 minutes before the end of the day phase. Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Indians and have 50% (or greater) of the remaining players.

As the group was trying to make sense of the destroyed houseboat, they realized that one of them wasn't out with the rest of the group. Curtis was missing. They went over to his houseboat but nobody responded when they called out his name. One of the people went inside to investigate, and find him they did. He was laying face down on his bed with a large bullet hole in the back of his head. They looked around his boat for a couple of minutes, but couldn't really find anything of value.

With two members killed overnight, the group returned to shore, put on a pot of water for tea, and got to work.
