What network would you have wanted them on?
NBC Sports is going away.
Hockey isn't exactly in Fox's wheelhouse.

ESPN getting hockey is huge. It’s kind of a chicken/egg. ESPN shit on hockey because it wasn’t on their network. For better or worse it’s the only sports network. Fox tried for Fox Sports 1 and it didn’t work that well.

Just read the Espn Release. Only 25 regular games on ABC/ESPN a year. That’s a little low. That’s probably one a week? Sounds like NHL.TV will go to espn+ which would be awesome, because if it’s the full package that’s a lot cheaper than NHL.TV to watch all the games, but that’s not going to help grow the game.

| The Avs have been playing so average its been pissing me off. Granted the last couple of games not having Mack because Bitchfeld and the Sharts can't go 5 seconds without trying to end someones career doesn't help but still. |

Good god I hope Pierre Mcguire stays in the US I don't need him back here.
And Mike Milbury is a tool he can stay there too. He once callled the CN Tower the Space Needle.
