It looks like Nolan is going to prove yet again why he's a worthy 'successor' to Kubrick of being the 'Master of All Genres' (though not as good, but closer than most directors will ever come).
Thoughts? Dunkirk is quite a signature moment in WII, so I'm excited to see how he'll bring such an event to the screen. I have a feeling it'll be quite a success.
They should make that the one and only trailer. I like it. It was ominous, and it wasn't over the top like most trailers.
Interesting subject matter for a WW2 film too. It's a fresh idea for what is otherwise a stale genre. Generally it is an amazing story that is worth telling.
Apparently Harry Styles is in it (:
Does Britain really have that shallow a pool of acting talent to choose from? I don't believe so! Maybe he's a good actor, I dunno.

Yeah, that was the same case with Interstellar, their first trailer has to still be the best trailer I have ever seen (Cloud Atlas being it's only competition). Nolan is pretty good with that!
I also agree about WWII being a stale genre, so I like that someone is touching upon a subject that hasn't been 'adapted' yet.
In regards to Harry Styles; it honestly feels like a gimmick that is miles lower than Nolan is. It actually seems to me like a marketing technique to get horny fan-girly teenagers to come to the theaters and ruin the expierence for e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e by squealing everytime he comes on-screen. I honestly hope his character dies right away just so that they can realize how unpredictable war is, and that noone is safe. They can sit their in shock the entire movie and we can still enjoy it in peace. :)
Am I an evil person for saying that? I dunno. I wouldn't mind a Styles appearance in any other movie, but Nolan to me is the closest to Kubrick it comes (and Kubrick is my absolute favorite director), so it feels like the theater expierence will be dimmed down a whole lot by more of a concert type crowd. The trailer even got dislikes because Styles didn't appear in it < I think I made my point on why it is a bad idea to have him on, and why it feels like a gimmick that should have been done in a Divergent movie or something (a movie thats already intended for teenagers).
They showed a long clip from this before Skull Island. It was really good, especially in IMAX where you could feel it all. Definitely gonna be a movie to see in IMAX
