The only place I've experienced bad racism against me being middle eastern was in the UK. And it was very open and they didn't care. |
Middle easterns in Europe face the same hardships that blacks do in America, more or less. |
I was constantly called Paki in school and was told to go back to my country, even though I was born here and my family was here for about 30 years at the time

Here's the full quote from the last link I posted above:
Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington DC Response to the President:
“Let me be clear. The President just used a Bible, the most sacred text of the Judeo-Christian tradition and one of the churches of my diocese without permission as a backdrop for a message antithetical to the teachings of Jesus and everything that our churches stand for. To do so, he sanctioned the use of tear gas by police officers in riot gear to clear the church yard.
I am outraged.
The President did not pray when he came to St. John’s; nor did he acknowledge the agony of our country right now and in particular the people of color who rightfully demand an end to 400 years of systemic racism and white supremacy in our country.
We in the Diocese of Washington following Jesus distance ourselves, and in no way do we support the President’s incendiary response to a wounded, grieving nation.. What we are watching now is the shredding of our national fabric.”
~The Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde,
Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington DC
Washington National Cathedral |
Good on the reverend for calling him out on the misuse of the bible. I was shocked he used that as a prop for his propaganda

No no no, we get renewal status this week. The season (hopefully series) finale isn't until January. If it gets cancelled I'm expecting a shift of focus to Pence like final season House of Cards |
You have to add the pandemic and his crazy supporters too in the aftermath of it all. Someone will try to rise and be their new saviour for the sequel season.

That being said, I won't make my prediction like I did 4 years ago in some old thread. I believe it was my fault he won. (:
EDIT: FOUND IT

Guys mathematically it's impossible for trump to win, all projections show he needs to win pretty much every battleground state in order to barely win, if Hillary wins one or two at the most, she's got it |
This post was the moment I realized Hilary was going to lose |
Lol woops (: |

Oh men this is fun hearing all your adventures of voting, but seriously stay safe. May this truly be the series finale, with a long ass prologue to follow.

You know what's better than election stress?
Threat for eviction on the same day!
My landlord really is a swell and understanding guy! |
Fine you can stay with me as you asked earlier, but I'm afraid $100 is too little. Up north, rent is about $900 one bedroom.

They're saying Pennsylvania has been declared for Biden on social media but nothing from major news outlets. People are already celebrating.
