This show absolutely slapped hard.

If anyone was interested in the comics, they change things up enough in the show that I don't think you lose anything going through the series. Actually, in a way I think Kirkman is making improvements here and there since the show is essentially him getting to write it all over again. Plus there's also been fun easter eggs.
