Also, the reason I did claim on Day 1 was because I didn't think it benefited the mafia to attempt to kill me, since I would've died if I protected their target anyway. I didn't see any other way out of it and surely would've been the Day 1 lynch.

Basic Mafia usually has mostly Vanilla Townies. We're just spoiled with all these creative roles here.

I'm used to playing with few roles and a lot of vt. Very different when everyone has a role.

PS my laptop really is broken and I played this almost entirely from my phone FUCK YOU GUYS! Playing from a phone is such a pain in the ass. I told Wikey as soon as he sent my role that I would be very ineffective this game because of it

I was gonna go after Ahoda night ONE! But I didn't think that was a priority because I thought our man still counted as a number at least. Would've taken the risk early on had I known for sure

I forgot to mention this. Ahoda did count as a number, for as long as there was mafia on the scum board alive. A bit weird, I know. But it made more sense for him to auto lose when all scum with access to the faction kill were dead. If he had been recruited, he would have been a fully fledged member and the game would probably still be going on now. The rules should have been clearer about this though, for sure.

I am curious why you didn't recruit him on your last night? You said you was going to!

Also, I second the notion to have more vanillas from here on.

We could make it something to aim for to have maybe a quarter or even half of the town vanilla from here on.

Maybe add some useless feature to some of the vanilla roles?

Give them a gun that fires blanks or something?

And maybe a post restriction role or two, like the one where you can only post three words?

Btw the reason why Shawn was inactive and lynched D1 was because I stole his laptop for that entire day :$

In ATTWS we try to have a lot of disguised vanilla roles just to make everyone feel like they have something special. Most of them are just bastard roles, Town roles that hurt town, roles that ultimately do nothing, etc

I think that's kinda what hosts do now. Roles like being able to flip someone off for instance. Basically just a dressed-up VT role.
