Odd-day duelist / even-day recruiter for Cult Leader I am a fan of group actions, because there's nothing more frustrating than having an inactive mafia member who gets lynched early and they were the ninja or something else extremely useful. It makes a lot of sense, but not sure about needing to make that role immune to the duel as well.

Merc only won the first duel he was in. After that, he was subject to the same R-P-S as everyone else. That whole thing was just my way of preventing someone from getting the pistols N1, challenging Merc D2, and Cult being gone on D2. The ability is fine, it's just the timing of it was unlucky for town in this game.

Well, they wouldn't know it was Merc - so that's highly unlikely to happen, but ok.

It's not much different than giving a SK a 1-time BP ability. This was a limited BP ability for the Cult Leader. You just got boned by it...lol

I understand, but SK also can't recruit every other night. Yes - I did get boned, but I do think it's a little over the top to have that extra safeguard in there.

It probably is. With as few duels as there were, they probably could have done without the protection.

No, I tried to figure out which cop I was, cause I knew there were 4 cops after Jamie's flip. Once I knew there were more than likely 4 cops, why would I not try to figure out what cop I was, before just confusing the town? Not my fault you screwed me on that investigation, if I didn't investigate him, I would have investigated myself and you'd have made up some BS about why I couldn't do that either.

But the lol was for it working out as if it was true. But thanks for bringing that back up.

Honestly the cops going down before they could confuse anyone or get a mislynch was a bonus to the town.

Yup, now you tell me. It didn't make any difference if you allowed me to investigate Jamie either. I still don't understand your thinking there, now that you brought it up.

1. Not the biggest fan personally. I just like each person having their own one role because I'm traditional I guess, but I also just think it makes it more fun for each person if they have a certain job to do. I also don't rly like mafia flipping and Town not knowing what role they were capable of doing, it's just less fun and less informative. I think it's fine for the odd game but I wouldn't want it to become a trend personally

2. This seemed fine to me. In the past we've had Cult Leaders recruit one night and kill the other, only those ones were straight up night kills so they were even more powerful. I don't think it was OP when you consider the fact that it serves to limit the Cult from growing too large too quickly which is a good thing. If you're gonna do Cult I think limitations are good as long as they have some perks somewhere else
