Wonderful ideas friends ty. I wanna make all of them eventually but I think one will be useful coming up so yesterday I made...

DUNGEON! Complete with jail bars! |
This one was fun, I got to try out some small new techniques. Rusty bars, grass flocking mixed with glue to create a paste of sorts to use as moss, and stones painted different colors which is way better for a stone look, I don't think these pictures show a clear shot of that
Gates are removable which is nice because it doesn't always have to be a dungeon jail really. The crossbars are made out of zipties

How about bad guys like goblins, things like that? Or are those made like the characters?
A town square
Spell effects like prestidigitation, ray of frost, magic missile
Bridge over a stream crossing - maybe where a weird troll lives

Alright I'm thinking each time I make one of your suggestions you guys toss out some new ones. Then I'll choose from the whole pile so far
So keep em rolling | |

Enemies are for sure easier the paper way like my characters, but I can definitely try crafting less humanoid and more monstrous enemies. I've been wanting to try out some more classic dnd monsters

I was just gonna suggest a bridge next to a waterfall.
If not that how about a drawbridge to a castle

A rope ladder over the side of a cliff.
A merchant stand with equipment/weapons to buy.

Another request has been MADE! This time it was......
|
A rope ladder over the side of a cliff. |
This one was cool for the same reasons as the cell, I got to use different techniques I've been meaning to try out. This is actually made out of TREE BARK! I baked the bark and sticks in the oven for a bit to dry them out and kill anything that might still be living in there, don't call peta. Painted it up with a blue base coat which was also a fun test, the blue worked pretty well as a base coast for stone
The flocking on the base is chopped up bark mixed with my grass flocking. I'm super happy with the base, it looks way better than the uniform single shade of green grass that I used on previous stuff. Rope ladder was easy, just string and dried out sticks. The ladder is entirely out of scale but what can you do
At first I thought this would be way too specific of a set piece to really reuse but now that its done I can see myself using it all the time. Its great to have elevation for encounters and the rope ladder can detach if I don't want it
Good suggestion Mittens ty, I'm happy with it

FINAL DUMP
These are all centered around my new favorite material, TEA LIGHTS. Painted some up a few weeks ago to look like dungeon braziers. They look great in person since they flicker

That's what this one kind of reminded of lol

Very cool, Curtis. If the ladder is removable then you'll get lots of good use out of it!
Your painting skills are fantastic. I'm afraid all my rocks would end up just being black with some white specks lol
