Unfortunately I thought this was pretty overrated based on what I had heard people saying about it before I watched it

Man I was squarely on team Joe Exotic in that middle stretch but then shit just went off the rails between the attempted murder and the slaughtering of all those cats. The worst anecdote might've come in the aftershow when the TV producer revealed that he once took some lady's horses out to pasture, then immediately butchered them and fed them to his tigers
The one armed keeper and the TV producer were the only ones I liked by the end
Finally decided to binge this. Entertaining as expected, what a cast of characters
One armed Saff and the producer seem like good people like you all mentioned but not nearly enough love on here for ERIK, long blonde hair/sunglass wearing zookeeper. He was the best, you could tell from early on that he just really cared about the animals and didn’t wanna get involved in the crazy shit. I don’t blame him for testifying against Joe about him shooting tigers. I liked the guy missing his legs too. Even tho he had his problems
Jeff Lowe and Doc suck. I’m not gonna read about what’s happened in the time since so I don’t spoil s2 for myself but I hope they both end up going down
Joe is a nut and a bad egg but he was def screwed over by Jeff and co
