Eric Clapton
Rush
The Smashing Pumpkins
Radiohead (opened by MGMT)
Flight of the Conchords
Tegan and Sara
Festival w/Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Iggy & the Stooges
Morrisey (x2)
Animal Collective
Slowdive
The Cure
Sufjan Stevens
New Order
Video Games Live
Interpol
The Avalanches
Queens of the Stone Age

Fuckin legit!

When did you see Slowdive? When I saw them it was so incredibly special because they were such a bucket-list band of mine for so long, especially considering they had been broken up for 22 years, I never really thought I'd ever be able to see them. So yeah, I really enjoyed that show!! Obviously, considering I traveled a little over 1300 miles to see them, haha.

What's your favorite song by them?

Hopefully I get to see The Cure and Radiohead. Def still bucket-list ones. Others I'd pay money to see from your list are New Order, Animal Collective, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sufjan Stevens and Tegan and Sara.

I'm not a huge music person but the concerts I have been to:

Fleetwood Mac
Barry Manilow
Local H
Tibetan Freedom Concert (in DC 1998 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibetan_Freedom_Concert)
Jimmie's Chicken Shack (first time I had even gotten high was at their concert)

And the tons of local bands that played gigs at Mainstreet when I bartended on Saturday nights, none of which made it big time and only a couple were really good.

I probably will forget a ton of bands. We go to the Chesapeake Bay Blues Fest pretty much every year; my buddy at work's FIL runs it, so we get free tickets. Granted, we make up for those tickets in beer, food, and merchandise sales. But they have a lot of great blues and blues-associated acts come through over the ages (they've had headliners in the past like James Brown and Jerry Lee Lewis, but that was before I started going in 2007 or so- here's a listing of past artists: http://www.bayblues.org/years-gone-by.html). Chuck Berry in 2010 was awesome. Due to kids, we didn't always get an opportunity to hang out until the headliners.

I'm not a huge stadium band person, so some bands I really like I've only seen once or not seen at all because they were doing huge stadiums by the time I was old enough to see them (so I've never once seen U2 or The Cure yet, since I can't convince myself to spend huge amounts for nosebleed seats and really get the experience of a live DVD because I can only see the band on the jumbotron anyway).

I've still gone to a few festivals, like the early Live 105 BFDs in the Bay Area and saw some fantastic bands. (Also hooked up with a girl after one because we were driving up 101 heading home and we were both singing to what was on 105 at the time - but that's a whole other story).

That fest had:

Violent Femmes
Pretenders
Rollins band (2nd time I'd seen them)
Oingo Boingo (2nd time I'd seen them)
Green Day (3rd time I'd seen them and 1st after they became a big act)
Toad the Wet Sprocket
Smithereens
The Church
James
Beck
Frente

Two different Projektfests, including:

Black Tape for a Blue Girl
Attrition
Lycia
Love Spirals Downwards
Faith and the Muse (one of five times seeing them)
This Ascension
Thanatos
Eden
Rosewater Elizabeth
(a few others i can't remember)

In terms of other non-festival bands:

Green Day- saw them two other times before they hit it big. One time in a tiny venue at SSU, the other when they played for beer at a friend's party
Primus (four times)
Depeche Mode
Bauhaus (twice)
Love and Rockets (twice)
Siouxsie and the Banshees
The Creatures (four times, once with John Cale from Velvet Underground)
The Sisters of Mercy
Faith and the Muse (four other times, along with a special Strange Boutique reunion show)
Sunshine Blind (five times)
Malign (twice)
The Mission (twice)
OMD
Trance to the Sun (three times)
Mephisto Walz
Switchblade Symphony
Christian Death
KMFDM (twice)
Front Line Assembly (twice)
Die Krupps
Front 242 (twice)
Laibach
Gary Numan (twice)
Alien Sex Fiend
Clan of Xymox
They Might Be Giants
Ocean Blue
Big Electric Cat
Live
Nine Inch Nails
Legendary Pink Dots
Ministry
Miranda Sex Garden
Faith No More (and Mr Bungle)
Operation Ivy
Howard Jones
Dj Accucrack
Death in June
Sol Invictus
Electric Hellfire Club
Siddal

I know I'm missing a ton of bands that I can't think of right now.

I think the last concert I went to was Linkin Park + Adema + Cypress Hill back in 2002, at the World Arena in Colorado Springs.

Fun story, I ran into Linkin Park in a Chilis in ColoSprings before the concert, as I was sat in the booth next to where they were eating. R.I.P. Chester.

I've seen Third Eye Blind, Days of the New, Skywynd/Crash Anthem, Teenage Bottlerocket, and a bunch of other local bands (in Minnesota) that nobody has ever heard of. I'd love to go to more concerts, but just don't have the time/money to do it.

Never been to a concert. Ever.
Rodney is a great guy. Oops, nevermind he's a terrible human being.
He likes his sandwiches to be Turkey and Swiss. Triangle cut. Let vern have his crust. Poison the part Rodney eats.
