As a mod, there are only two types of people I can't stand.

1. Those who sign up and never participate.
2. Those who actively try to get modkilled.

Both of those people are basically giving a great big FU to the mod, for all the time and effort they put into coming up with the game. Those people should be subject to a sort of X-game ban or something.

I feel like you singled out DS

I was singling out Nofo, tbh

If a player has been inactive for x amount of days, just kill him/her off?

Pepsi twist sucks. Replacements do not suck.

DS from FFA @ 23/8/2017 3:29
Day one Lynchee should be able to replace an inactive if his role and knowledge of the game does not adversely affect the game. I.e., a lynched Mafia member no, a lynched townie yes depending on role

I don't like that. If scum or whoever did effort to get rid of a dangerous player or someone they don't like then that should not come back to haunt them imo. I'd be out for revenge tbh lol.

This dead player replacement argument isn't jiving with GLB'ers lust for graveyards

What if said inactive player has a vital role to the setup? What are thoughts of mod killing the person after inactivity but switching roles?

That's the part I hate, randomly assigning roles, seeing someone you question and still rolling it with it giving them the benefit of the doubt, then losing a critical part of the game cause someone didn't even try. That's a prime example of trying to get a replacement as much as anything imo.

Active players can ruin vital roles too, like an SK making terrible kill choices that don't help them reach their wincon. It happens.

Luckily most of us are pretty good at being active. Even one post a day is not entirely inactive. It's pretty rare for one of us to vanish entirely, I think it only happens once in a blue moon with newbies

Not all GLBers do graveyards and if I do anyone in there is not allowed to take over. usually it's the last townie that died as long as they dont' have any knowledge that isn't public.

Majority of the time in the large games, newbies get overwhelmed and just quit.
