Awesome. Protagonists kill kids. Completely makes sense with the situation and with what Carol has become, but I can't think of another show where that's happened.

I was disappointed at first because it became clear it was going to be a Tyreese/Carol and the girls episode and there are far more interesting characters just introduced that we're not getting back to (Joe's group, and Eugene/Abraham/Rosita). But then things got crazy

I think those two were the last Woodbury survivors? So now everyone from that town is dead

Yeah I remember the father and his death. That was when Carol took them in. But this part is news to me!

Yeah the bulk of the Woodbury people were the old fucks on the bus that ended up all dying. It was kinda explained that most of the new people ala Parick, Bob, Zack, etc were recruited on the road as seen with the Irish lady and Bob's flashback.

I always thought the girls were from Woodbury too...

I respect the writers sticking with Carol being the one to kill Karen instead of Lizzie doing it like all of the fans wanted. The Sherlock writers should take note.

The other set of kids (the little boy and girl) were from Woodbury. I think it's been confirmed that all Woodbury people are dead at this point. Seems a little ridiculous tbh, but I guess they weren't used to the thick of the world.

I hope Beth randomly survives til the bitter fucking end against all odds. It seems to obvious to kill her off now.

It sucks the town was just wiped out, but they backed themselves into a lot of weird corners with the odd writing last season. A lot of characters introduced were utterly pointless and/or poorly thought out. And even when they did introduce a character with an interesting background, it was often forgotten and they were killed off willy-nilly (Haley, Dr. Stevens, Rowan, Oscar, Noah, Allen & Ben, so many others). I mean yeah, people gotta die in a show like this, but it seems silly to give someone a story for one episode and then forget about them for the rest of the show. Instead it was the pointless background characters that end up surviving for whatever reason until they were killed off, still having no purpose or reason in the meantime. I think they did a pretty good job of recovering from that this season by purging the bulk of them with the sickness and later the death bus.

I LOVE that Beth is still around. She was so obviously introduced as a throwaway character and it's great that they've turned her into something much more. I just really wish Gimple was around to salvage T-Dog ;________; Nevar forget
