Something about tonight felt different.. previous to tonight they'd only had one killer on the loose to worry about. But this realm had brought on a whole new nightmare as two killers walked onto the scene -- bringing their own realm of horrors into play.

Unfortunately for one survivor, they found themselves crouched over in an abandoned circus train car. Looking around on the inside, the interior seemed to have been redone to be able to let someone live inside. But, as they made their way around looking -- their eyes landed on something that made their stomach turn.

Several rings of thumbs lay across one of the shelves etched into the wall, giving off a nauseating scent. As the survivor turned around, they heard the sound of a projectile fly through a window. Before they could react, the sound of glass shattering echoed through the room before a pink fog consumed the air.

As the smoke filled the room, Herm couldn't help but fall into a coughing fit. He staggered out of the car and into the grass outside. It wasn't long before a figure stepped over him, blocking the train car out of view. The Clown frowned down at him, swinging a switchblade around his fingers.



Kneeling down, the Clown leans in towards Herm and raises the switchblade above his head. Herm can't do anything but let out a choked scream before it strikes down against his chest. The last thing he can see is the Clown grabbing at his hand -- snipping off his thumb and attaching it to a fresh ring on his hip.

Herm's Role

You are Jake Park, the solitary survivalist. Played by: Herm Alignment: Survivor Backstory + Growing up the son of a wealthy CEO was always going to put pressure on Jake Park. When his brother graduated with honours from Yale, the pressure on Jake intensified. Jake just wasn't the academic type, but his father never really understood his refusal to embrace the expensive education he lavished upon him. Eventually, Jake rebelled by dropping out of school entirely. Now, Jake lives off the grid on the edge of the woods. It's been years since he spoke to his father but his mother checks in once in a while. It was she, who eventually called the police. The cops said he got lost in the woods and a search party looked for days, but gave up as bad weather rolled in. Despite passionate pleas from his mother, they never resumed the search and Jake went down in history as another casualty of the woods. Perks Iron Will: When you are injured while working on a generator, the killers will not be alerted of your injury. Calm Spirit: Once per game, even when downed, you may choose another player. That player will be informed of who you are and what injury status you are at. Saboteur: Instead of performing a regular action, you may choose another player. That player will not be able to perform their action for that night. Win condition Outlive all the killers or find a way to escape.

Hearing the screams from Herm, another survivor runs off towards the abandoned asylum. As they step inside, they see what looks like an ornate church on the first floor. They slow their run to a walk as they look around, taking in the view.

They are only taken out of their trance as they hear a screech in the distance. The survivor peeks out the window to catch their first glimpse at the second killer in this realm.. The Nurse.



The survivor sees her raise her fist above her and for a second, it seems like a fire is starting to form in her fist -- mesmerizing him. But in a flash, they notice that she's gone from where she was before.

In almost the exact same moment, he feels a rush of air pass by him and almost knock him off his feet. Turning around, he sees the Nurse is now standing in the same room as him. His scream is drowned out by her screeching once more in their direction.

The survivor takes a turn out of the room and sprints for the stairs, trying to make as much distance as he can from her. But it's not use as suddenly, he feels his feet lift off the stairs and he feels himself stuck in place for a moment.

The sensation wears off before he's ready and he slams back down against the stairs below him, knocking him to his knees. Feeling the force against him once more, Animal is flipped onto his back -- facing the Nurse head on.

He can't even let out a scream before her hands wrap around his throat, tightening around it until he can't do anything outside of gasp for air. He reaches up towards her face to push her away but the fighting back only angers her more, causing her to snap his neck -- letting his lifeless body slowly slide down the stairs.

Animal's Role

You are Dwight Faifield, the nervous leader. Played by: Animal Alignment: Survivor Backstory + Dwight was geeky and scrawny through high school. He always wanted to be one of the cool kids, but somehow never had the charisma. He tried out for the football team but was cut, the basketball team didn't even take a look, and his grades were distinctly below average. One weekend, on a team-building exercise from his dead-end job, Dwight's boss led them deep into the woods before breaking out his family recipe moonshine. Dwight remembered taking the first sip before waking up late the next morning all alone. During the night, the others had abandoned him. Once again, the laughing stock of the community Dwight tried to hike his way out of the woods. That was the last anyone ever heard of Dwight Fairfield. Perks Bond: Instead of taking an action, you can watch one generator and see how many people visited it in the night. Prove Thyself: When working on a generator, you and any survivors on the same generator will fix it an additional 2%. Leader: If you are alive when the generators are finished, all survivors at the exit gate you visit will progress it an additional 5%. Win condition Outlive all the killers or find a way to escape.

As the familiar fog set in, a new sensation washed over the survivors as they walked forward. Their feet slowly started to stick into the ground below them as if they were walking through mud. As the fog faded away, they could see that they were now surrounded by what looked like a bog. A mist covered the ground around them, causing a strange odor to fill their noses. In the distance one of the survivors noticed a hunched over woman running between a pair of trees. They'd arrived at the Backwater Swamp, home of the Hag.

It wasn't until the villagers of a nearby hamlet discovered a half-submerged collection of huts during a search for a missing person that the true history of Backwater Swamp began to unravel. After the federal authorities were alerted to the small settlement, they opted to drain the waters around the village in order to investigate the outcome of the previous inhabitants. Even after only a small amount of water had been removed, they soon realized that any poor souls that had drifted on the currents or gotten lost wandering in the swamp had found their way to this place. Saturated bits of flesh floated in the remaining water and caked blood darkened the already-rotting wood of the shacks amidst the occasional limb. In the middle of the encampment, a large paddle steamer engulfed by the sloppy, drooling mud loomed over it's surroundings. Upon closer inspection, one could read discrepant lettering across the portside reading, "The Pale Rose".

Further drainage eventually gave access to the lower levels of the steamer. Even going near the entrance caused several investigators to vomit as a horrible stench oozed out into the open air. At the top of the stairs, several marks in the walls could be noted, hinting that something had been clawing at them. The marks continued almost in a line down the steps until the flooded basement hid them from sight. At the bottom, the true horror was found. An approximation of 37 confirmed sets of human remains floated and bobbed in the crimson water, veins and intestines flowing out of their respective cavities. Corpses showed traces of being cut into, their bones apparently carefully scraped free of flesh by either tools, claws, or both. Only one body, Lander Millard, was ever identified and sufficiently recovered for a burial. Most deduced a cannibalistic individual likely hunted in the swamp, though this was never proven. Village rumour has it whoever was responsible fled into the darkest reaches of the swamp, to one day begin their foul hunt again.

As for the family that actually lurked in these waters - the villagers would stumble across them elsewhere, devoured by an identifiable animal.
