When that lady said she "didn't have friends growing up", I was in shock I tell you...shock. Joe Exotic's husband said they met right after he left high school. Does anyone believe that? Joe was hitting that while he was still in school.

Finished the series. I'll post more thoughts later but

Wow, what a group of characters. Every episode, I would think "That person is terrible" then the next episode they would introduce someone else and I'd think they were worse!

Especially with all the free time this one has become a must see.

First off, the character are hilarious.

Joe Exotic is obviously the star, and he knows it. Everything he does is for show.

But each other person you meet kinda makes you go wtf??

Joe def blew up his own stuff to avoid prosecution. But if he had been clean and got his reality show made, he would have made millions. He was corny as hell but you can't look away when he's on screen. Carole is the Godfather of the show. She just sits back and smiles but the whole time you are like - she def killed her husband and you shouldn't fuck with her. If Joe had left her alone, he'd be a free man right now. Lowe was slimy as hell. He admitted he fell out with every investor ever. Man, maybe the problem is you? It was amazing how much money they were making and how most of the people were living. Everyone at the top knew how to exploit people. 8/10 btw. Was a fun watch. You enjoy the production. Close to the end of every episode, you would think "Well that's enough, how do we have x amount left, and they would introduce something that would make you want to watch the next episode. They really lucked onto a great "cast" as well. Def a must watch.

We're watching currently. I listened to the podcast about this story a few months ago and I still don't feel like I was prepared for the absurdity.

I watched this the other night. Crazy, freaky people. I saw Joe Exotic on that clip they showed from John Oliver's show when he was running for president which was lol in itself but didn't know then the extent of the madness.

Unfortunately I thought this was pretty overrated based on what I had heard people saying about it before I watched it

Finished it last night. Man what a sad ending. The animals are screwed and never benefited from the shelters.

Joe was definitely screwed over by everyone else. Everyone in this is a pos for sure.
